The answer is simple men have the rules of engagement in patriarchal society with patrilineal system
The first rule in this kind of society is the marriage contract.
What is marriage? It is simply an offer of security to take on the responsibility of the father to the woman which her father does for her as well as the role of a lover / sexual partner.that is he is to be providing, protecting, leading & guiding the lady which Cements his position as Head of the family/ house plus her sexual partner, his authority in his house is not questioned the same way the womn won't do to her father. In return the woman is expected to give unrestricted exclusive sexual Acess to the man, take care of his house just like she did in her dad's house as well taking care of him just like did for her dad plus their children
The second rules states that men as Long as they acquire resources & status within the society should they sexually desire more women due to high libido are allowed to marry the amount of women their resources/wealth/ food, sexual libido & stamina, emotional capacity can handle. These 3 conditions are necessary for one to engage in polygamy. So in essence the End goal of patriarchy is polygamy
But what happened is the European cultures of Greece, Rome and German introduced monogamy but men's sexual libido & women's hypergamous nature poses a problem to monogamy so for them to actually make the monogamous system to work slavery had to be in place solve the natural contradictions of monogamy. Men marry one wife but if they want to sleep with another woman they get a female slave who works in the house & sleeps with the husband/ master of the house & given few privileges of being a house slave with benefits associated with such role.plus the system of mistress ship or concubine who are given wife role and benefits without the legal or social recognition & protection of being a wife. So these makes the competition for a man's hand & marriage or husband to become very fierce among women because it is a win or lose game for them unlike polygamy that will incorporate every woman into the man's family. And since we banned polygamy men' sexual libido won't stop or come down so men marry one wife but make other women who should have been a potential wives concubines & women always want men that have resources, status, power in the society's hierarchy plus the personality traits ( Machiavellian, psychopathic or sociopathic traits) & social proof that comes with it which is preselection or having many women in the rotation.
So that's why women are not punished or frowned upon because it is believed that such women could possibly be potential wives in the past based on the patriarchy system set up as that's what the system is supposed to be
Patriarchy system is a social political system that is dictated by men's sexual biological goals or imperative.
Men sleeping with another man's wife is frowned especially in a patriarchal society because a wife is seen as a man's sexual property because of the contract above that I mentioned plus it disrupt the Harmony Of brotherhood between men in such society as it if discovered which will lead to the society's demise plus the danger of a child with another man's genes inheriting his resources or wealth & been given his fatherly care & his responsibility without his consent. Plus him not knowing how to confirm the paternity of the child his wife delivers. That's why there is a fear mongering or harsh statements on women's infidelity or men's affairs with married women in a patriarchal society both in patriarchal with patrilineal system society and patriarchal with matrilineal system society

Now why do men engage in such affairs with married women
1) cheap financial cost: most married women don't ask for much financial demands like single ladies who get much attention from men of all stages and ages of life. So they are not arrogant to be extorting money in the name of relationship they have their husbands taking care of them they just want to feel desired again by other men like they were once were in their Youth or to have fun reliving their old youthful days. Men who approach them for this reasons are men both Young & old who are fiancially struggling and don't have girlfriends especially here in Nigeria due to girlfriend financial cost p
2) sexually starved men: men who due to maybe reasons above, and haven't acquired high status & wealth or don't have game usually go for married women to quench their konji or sexual hunger because such women are looking to feel desired apart from their husbands or relive their youth doing naughty things that's why.
3) fetish: some men get sexually aroused, or sexually enjoy sleeping with Married women so they ask chase after married women.
4) power trip fetish or ego trip fetish: these men who are in this category are mostly some of our politicians, top powerful business men and yahoo boys who sleep with married women by trying to intimidate the married woman's husband and taking or seducing his wife in his presence and having sex with her with her husband being aware of it, they sexually enjoy or fetishize bullying emasculating other men by sleeping with their wives with their husbands knowledge basically they sexually enjoy showing off their power over other men.

This ones are capable of going on small vacation outside the country occasionally or sparingly and are a bit affluent people who belong in this category are people in high rank or in well paying public/civil service jobs or both and high paying corporate private jobs. They could afford building or buying a duplex to live in. But can only Afford to build one or Two houses residential house and village house
Then the lower middle class are those that earn from one million naira down to 300 thousand naira. These group can afford to live in 3 bedroom flat comfortably with their family, have one or two cars mentioned above to commute around usually have2 or 3 or 4 children. Sometimes borrow money from their work place cooperatives or micro fiance banks to handle or carry out big projects or big expenses to pay off slowly from their salaries.
This is the middle class in Nigeria
And no puff daddy is not middle class but belongs to the rich class in America he owns mansions and is famous and worths millions of dollars. Middle class in America earn an income of 100 thousand dollars a year up to 200 thousand dollars. Any one earning over 500 thousand dollars a year in America belongs to the rich class or at least upper middle class in America

While we were there waiting, the doctor came out and gave us the worse news of my life that my daughter is dead, that she lost a lot of blood but she gave birth to a baby girl and the baby is alive. O’ MY GOD. It was the worse moment I ever had. I cried and cried my heart out. Its been like 1 year and 9 months since my daughter died and I have been living with my son-inlaw ever since to be able to take care of my little grand daughter . the feelings I have for my son-inlaw just keeps increasing as the day goes by but I don’t know how to start to let him know how am feeling. Ever since my daughter died he has neva been with another woman. Now my concern is if another woman comes into this house, she might not be able to take care of my grand daughter the way I will. Yes you are right that sex and all kinds of it have been practiced since ages but only by certain cultures. It is true that people learn new or different certain sexual practices through experimentation and exploration of their body to find their unique sexual preferences. What porn did was to complie all that different sexual preferences and spread it's awareness via videos and television. Some cultures and civilizations are restrictive to sexual experiences or certain sexual preferences. For example African culture is very sexually conservative culture. Most of the sexual practices our forefathers know of is missionary sexual position (papa and mama sex) or at most cow girl or woman on top sexual position if there are some African cultures/ societies that know such or encourage such at all. But porn has broken the barrier in sexual knowledge. Let me give a personal example.
