Investment › Re: What Should We Invest In So We Don’t Regret It 10 Years From Now? by zanshi: 10:58am On Nov 29, 2025 |
mocochannel: In 2014, Many of us ignored investing because we don't know what to invest in.
Now we’re asking again:
What investment do you think we should invest in so we don't regret it 10 years from now? Farmlands are the new real estate, just like in the 1800s there would be serfs and landlords, Nollywood did a physco brainwash making people not reconnect with their ancestral village, thereby making a lot of your uncles and older family members sell your family's lands and pocket the proceeds. The amount of monies you can make on a 100 acre of land planting cashew, cocoa is mind blowing. You can even hedge the gains to plan for retirement and retire early. |

slivertongue: Nigeria doesn't really need US boots here. All that is needed is the political will but Tinubu's advisers including Ribadu will never support a change of tactics Same Ribadu that was touted to have been begging US senators to help with terrorits bandit invasion? The truth is that the Nigerian security aparatus does not have the political will, might to overpower these terrorist owning fully well that this war has been on for 15years plus. What we need is less men on the ground, more intelligence and more air support. At a point government was using propaganda and was gagging the media in report scores of civilian and military causalities, but now even the reportage on social media cannot be controlled by media propaganda from government. This government came in through propaganda and they are ready to gaslight you in all shape manner and form. |

A lot of all these pseudo acts of virtue signalling love and affection is not our own reality as Africans even though on the surface level may not be bad. You should not be borderline begging someone to love you as maybe you are desperate but to be able to convince them beyond reasonable doubt that your affection for them supersedes all.
A lot of these acts come from the western world, and has been further shown in the media as it being the gold standard of showing love. |

Romance › Re: Men!! Invest In Your Wife's Business, It's Called Plan B. by zanshi: 2:49am On Oct 01, 2025 |
Jennyclay: When you see a situation whereby a married man was a millionaire, but along the way he lost everything and became completely broke it’s actually because he never had a plan B.
The best plan B you men don’t know is investing in your wife’s business. Once you are making enough money as a man and your wife is also into business, please kindly pump money into your wife’s business, expand the business, give her enough money to grow her business.
The reality of life is that No one knows tomorrow, you can lost everything you once had at any point and Trust me, you can never get to a very bad stage with this backup plan B. Also tell a lot of younger women if you can that the era of waiting for a financial saviour who would take all their financial pain is gone, because if they fail to build something along with the man, and God forbids he dies, woe betide you if you don't know how to manage his nouveau wealth. |

Firstly this is wrong and i'll explain.:
Invest in your significant other because you want them to be financially buoyant not because you are expecting a return on investment when the business booms, it's even worse if she isn't a kind woman from start. |

grandstar: When my younger brother had lived in the UK a few years while studying and came to sort out a few things, he complained suddenly that Nigerian girls like money.
That was when I knew he was going to marry a foreigner.
Stop lying to yourself.
It is on our custom for the man tobe seen as the bread winner, and to be the major provider. That was what the man brought to the table, and women seem fine with that. Unfortunately, the downside was that in marraige, many men became promiscious knowing they wielded financial control over the woman. And you know what that era is gone, a lot of Naija babes in the diaspora haven't yet snapped into this era of being two income households, paying equally for a date or contributing financially into their relationship/marriage. That ear of pairing up with a financial saviour who would cater for all your bills whilst you do nothing is slowly fading. Why Nigerian babes are having a rough time with dating 2.0. Both men and women have to contribute equally to make the relationship work. |

Confirm4real: Same way I went for one of my friends wedding and met a girl and we exchanged numbers and started talking, around 2 weeks she said they stole her phone and it's an Iphone worth 300k and the funny part was that she called me on video call in a phone shop shading crocodile tears, thinking I would send her the 300k immediately to purchase a new phone. I just found a way to end the call, she became angry and found out I didn't want to send her the money. I now reduced communicating with her, she later sent me a message that she was hoping at least I would have helped her even if it's like 150k. I didn't even reply the message...
Na who fall mugu dem dey chop IMAGINE! Person wey you juss meet 300k fall out from thin air when it isn't that you guys are dating or something. It is the entilement for me, you meet someone new and start bamboozling them with financial request, and they be complaining as to why Nigerian men are commiting to them emotionally. Met a girl on a dating site, few days she is already saying she is craving this and that it is too early to make this ask in a relationship! |

Wadoh: It’s not lack of money that ends most relationships. It’s the lack of purpose, direction, and effort that often comes with being broke for too long without a plan to grow. Don’t lead with your bank account. Lead with your drive, your honesty, and your ambition. The right woman won’t mind starting small—if she sees you’re going somewhere. Wadoh you dey whine?? My ex babe asked me for 500kpa to rent house told her i have mad expenses but will give you the money in bits till she it gets competed cos i had a bad experience previous year all in the name of renting house for babe, she got the money from someone else and started giving attitude till relationship packed up This was a babe i asked you wan rent house how much you get she talk say she no get anything but she dey expect ajo soonest. franchasng: There are tell signs that most men ignore.
Women don't just change overnight, there must be obvious signs you are married to an unreliable woman or you have been maltreating her and she has been praying for an escape route via migration abroad.
No sensible woman wakes up one day and initiate divorce with her husband just because they migrated abroad; it doesn't work that way.
The truth is, most Nigerian men oppress and maltreat their wives in Nigeria just because they are the breadwinner.
Your wife and children are always in fear the moment you step into the house; that's a sign that you are a failed husband and father, and if by mistake you relocate abroad with that woman, she will so deal with you eh lol
And to the men that enjoy extramarital games, continue playing it openly without remorse, continue splashing it to her face thinking she doesn't care, she cares oh, she is burning inside oh, she is only keeping quiet and pretending that all is well simply because Nigeria have no laws that protect married women and because she is not yet financially buoyant to live her dream life without your money, once she gets financially liberated through migration abroad, just count yourself a single man, it doesn't matter how many millions you spent sponsoring her abroad.
What do I even know? Let me go back to Tel Aviv from there will make a stop at Tehran to see if Ali Khamenei was smuggled out of Iran some days ago or not, see you guys tomorrow Oppress how ?? The one's who decided to treat their wifes right and collect red nko, are you going to hold brief for them too? Are you aware that there are men who take up a benovelent act by paying school fees for their significant other their babe oo who they intend to marry ooo, yet they still go about cheating or after she graduates, she would say she no do again, you think it is easy to pay school fees? Prayer be say make man meet good and greatful wife! |
