RomanceRe: Men, It's Dangerous If You Don't Understand Women by zanshi:
Babatunjo:
A lot of men keep drowning in relationships because they rely on advice that sounds good instead of understanding what actually works.

The interesting part is that the advice is often sincere.

Your mother, your sister, or your female friend may genuinely tell you what they believe they want. They mean well.

But attraction and long-term relationship dynamics are not always the same as what people say in conversation.

That gap is where many men get hurt.

For example:

• "Always be available for your girl." Then they find that having their own life, mission, and standards often earns more respect and attraction.

The solution?

Don't hate women. Don't argue with them when they give you advice.

Watch what consistently earns respect, attraction, and healthy relationships with them. Judge by outcomes.

Even this post will probably be dismissed by some women. And that's okay. Men still have the responsibility to learn from reality, because they are the ones who bear the consequences of getting it wrong.
I very much understand that the fantasy that plays in a woman's head is different from the reality of the average joe.

Almost all of the relationships i have been with women in the past, we have had to have contention over: "Ohh, you need to give me time." Don't get me wrong i always do and i am my significant other get to spend quality time when we see but their translation of give me time is: You need to abandon your work or hustle and chase me head over heels. They don't understand that as a man who is competing for resources with other men, you need to be on your game and your spare time is only what is available for chasing women not just anytime you feel like.

Their perspective about money/finances is different; a woman wants to spend, splurge without excercising delayed gratification. That is why when i look aback on the monies i have spent in the past with my exes, i shudder because these daughters of eve would want you to financially virtue signal to them on how best you can waste money on garbage so you can score some points on you being relationship material.

A man is situationally aware that the world can be lovely as well as it can be crude and dangerous. That is why when a man gives advices or his perspective on somethings she may not necessarily agree to it because you aren't using a lot of female word salad to paint the situation flowery or to make it look not soo bad as compared to the advise her female counterparts would give.

It is imperative as men to have ample amount of female experience, it can be brutal when you start of as a loverboy or a lover jew man. One of the reasons redpill is causing a dating crisis is because a lot of the hidden secrets or not so cool things older folks didn't tell young men or they experienced about women much later, the older folks that is, men are getting to know them now and are asking questions and the women on the other hand are furious.

GehGeh would say don't train a woman to school, rather use the money to buy a goat and use the proceeds to xyzabc419. This is because women don't understand the beauty of sacrifices, they grow into this bubble that ohh im a woman, society told me im special hence why i am entitled. Men on the other hand understand that people don't make sacrifices because of your fine face, it is because of a sense of community and duty.

Don't marry a single mother, i could say post 90s Nigeria, men marrying single mothers were never a problem, as a matter of fact, single mothers had a great deal of respect because society sees her as someone who is fertile as compared to a single girl who has never had a child. Over time people became situationally aware and saw that they needed to ask questions on why you got divorced before accepting you hook line and sinker.

Always have a cache of expectations with your significant other that you love to the high heavens because she can misbehave at any time and it should not drain you when it happens. There is a reason why amongst men they say it is important that you experience your first heartbreak early in life because if you don't, you fit run madddd when you still love her despite her misgivngs whilst she has moved on with the third party. Nowadays women misbehave and i just move on like nothing happened.
RomanceRe: Men, Withdraw From Romance If You Haven't Fixed Your Life Yet by zanshi: 2:56am On Jul 07
Babatunjo:
I'm not saying you must be stinking rich before you date.

But ask yourself this:

Have you discovered the path that will make you wealthy?

Not that the money has arrived already, but you're so certain of the direction that it's only a matter of time before the results come.

If your answer is No, then maybe romance shouldn't be your priority.

The journey to becoming that man is painful. It demands sacrifice, discipline, and delayed gratification. Every hour, every naira, and every bit of emotional energy counts.

Many men don't become miserable because they loved the wrong woman.

They become miserable because they pursued romance before building themselves.

I'm not saying this is true for every man, but for many, putting purpose before pleasure would have saved them years of frustration.

The process will hurt.

You'll miss out on some experiences. You'll feel lonely at times. You'll question yourself.

But is there really another choice?
I am laughing at my family relative who relocated to my city, and was lucky enough to find a girl who works and they have been talking back and forth. The boy in question does not have a job oo but love don dey shark am i just dey look am dey smile. He dey talk say his girlfriend is always buying things when comming to see him bla bla bla. Na until he enter system body go tell am.

As men, it is imperative we fix our lives financially before we add any responsibilites to our lives. Cos the life of a family man na so so bills. Your hairline go first receeed amongst other noticable changes.
RomanceRe: Why Do Good/church Girls Find It Difficult To Get Married? by zanshi: 10:28am On Jun 25
That is because your baddie is more approachable than your supposed good girl. Go and meet a baddie today and say hi at her she would most definately respond back and want to keep the convo going. But a supposed good church, she would glance at you from head to toe and would barely give you the vibe you are looking for.
PoliticsRe: Warning: Sunday Igboho's Actions May Fuel Ethnic And Religious Tensions by zanshi: 2:37am On Jun 23
And let it fuel it.

A lot of people seem to underestimate the effects of this banditry in small agrarian societies in the hinterlands. For communities in the North east and west, they would kidnap, kill and levy taxes on communities to pay lets say for example #50m. And all hands seem to point to Fulani. Fulani's have now turned to kidnapping and full blown terrorism in the their bid to be economic prosperous whilst abandoing hardwork.

If state actors need to go the extra mile towards sending a message to help secure lives and properites so be it. If you understand how ill-equipped and how much bureacracy Nigerian police have to deal with in other to quell insurgents such as this you wouldn't blame them for.

Tinubu should just be careful enough, MKO Abilola overdo self that time, the Fulani are never jokers
They are watching, unless you're ready to fight them, don't say nothing will happen.

Am a Yoruba
But these kind of court judgement is baseless and can be the turning point in the country
Tinubu may for sure be ousted on two grounds:

If the North plans a coup if they don't get power or America get's involved. Remeber Iran and US debacle is almost over and the issue of the strait of Hormuz is almost being finalized. The next course of action of Mr Trump may be bring forth regime change in Nigeria.

It is no news that Trump detest anything democrats and if we go back in time as to how Buhari came into power with the Obama and John Kerry connection, Trump may just be chirping in to correct this mistake.

Also Tinubu hasn't done much to make his base happy and improve the economic situations of things into the election year. Without rigging i see him loosing the election and he needs the election to solidify his win even if the margin is thin.

RomanceRe: I'm A Lot Brutal With Girls Nowadays When It Comes To Money by zanshi: 8:29pm On Jun 10
Host78:
As a guy, you need to learn to be more brutal.

See women don't care to be civilized or courteous when making their demands.

She will tell you as a man you need to do this or that for me.

I was with a girl recently and she told me before she can sleep with me, I must take her out on a date first.

But this girl will come to my house, ask me for 1k here and there.

At first, I was giving her the money but each time we enter bed, she'll say, you have to take me out first before I can sleep with you.

No shame. No care about how it'll make me feel.

Her demands were clear as day. On the other hand I was doing, eh if I refuse her money it'll not look good.

But I just lock up and started refusing her money clearly. I told her plainly when she demanded that I buy her a bag of water.

I'm not sleeping with you why should I be buying you water?

Stopped her from coming to my place to cook and eat.

Girls know something you don't. If you dont give her money, she loses nothing other than you which she never liked anyways.

If you give her money then at least she gains something from keeping you around.
had an experience with a girl like this sometimes ago

everytime buy me this, buy me that till i cut her off.

sometimes men dey give them a benefit of doubt but once they start to do whreey cut dem off.

Dating culture for folks born in the 80s is different from folks born in the 90s and 2000s.
RomanceRe: No Money, No Marriage by zanshi: 11:49pm On May 30
The difference between the older generation and younger folks is that no one wants to start small. Yesterdays Nigeria's boomer generation were lucky to get a girl who can work with their programme, start in one room and from there they expanded. But this was with a promise that they worked hard to better their situation which in some cases turned out right or even turned out worse. Young women in today's generation wouldn't even give you a chance, i mean for the mere sake of fertility, a lot of them may come to their senses in their 30s and be like yeah lets work something out but men on the other hand don't mind waiting it out until things get better.

In retrospect finances define the intersexual dynamics of being together with your significant other. Older boomers didn't mind getting along with a girl who is decent, unemployed, comes from a supposedly good family and is feminine in nature. In todays economy, if a lady doesn't have job, too demanding or has poor money habit; has a penchant for unbated consumerism then she scores low as compared to someone who has the opposite of the qualities lacking. Over time as a young adult, i have seen couples who started with love become enemies or their marriages experiencing some sort of strain because of financial stress and not having money at the right time sucks

BusinessRe: Igbo Apprenticeship System Gains Global Recognition As Nigeria Pushes For Policy by zanshi: 5:36pm On May 03
What Nigeria needs is an organized apprentiship system organised by the government

Not all this work for me like a slave with the promise that i would give you xyz amount of Naira which isn't guaranteed or that money isn't it any escrow.

Your master or boss can fall on hard times, he may choose not to fulfill his end of his bargain what then happens?

What Nigeria needs is a trades school pipeline that teaches people skill for lets say carpentry and after you are done, you get a saw cutting machine, drill machine, sanding machine...
CareerRe: My Lebanese Boss Almost Ruined My Life by zanshi: 7:37pm On Apr 10
Obavoh:
I am halfcast. My Father is Nigerian and My Mother is from Cotonou.

When my Lebanese Boss appointed me and my colleague to drive his Car all the way to Cotonou, I was very happy. I saw this as an opportunity to finally visit my Mother’s home land.

We were supposed to drive down to Lagos then my Boss would take a flight and meet us there.

As we were cleaning and preparing the car to leave, my Boss son came to me and asked me to give him some of the groundnut I was eating (THANK GOD MY COLLEAGUE WAS ABLE TO BEAR ME WITNESS) I brought out few pieces of groundnut from the same nylon I was eating from and gave the boy to eat.

Few minutes later, the little boy was still playing in the compound when he started vomiting. We rushed to the boy and saw his face red and his neck was swollen as if the vomit refused to fully come out of his throat.

Thank God we were able to rush the boy to the hospital and they treated him. I told them I gave the boy groundnut to eat and my Boss wife slapped me and scratched my face.

My Boss arrested me and I spent 13 days in the prison. All Glory to God, I was released after much begging. My wife and my mother even slept outside their gate to plead for my release.

My Boss made sure I paid back the little boys hospital bills of which he claimed was ₦700,000.

He did not show me the receipt but I agreed to pay just to get my job back and continue to put food on my family table. WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE

He promised to debit half of my salary which is ₦107,500 monthly. I continued to work hard for his company with all honesty.

This man did not pay me 1kobo for 4 months. Other staffs were getting full payment. I kept quiet hoping God Almighty will touch his heart.

During that 4 months I struggled to feed my pregnant wife and 7 children. I cried to God and asked him why he would watch an innocent man suffer this injustice.

I finally received sack letter from the company. That was when I walked up to Boss and asked for my half payment for the past four months. He was owing me ₦430,000. He threatened to arrest me and said I will rot in jail.

All I said to him was that My God in heaven will judge him and I left the company for good.

I had already made up my mind to take my wife and children back to our bandit attack village but in less than 1 month I got another job to the glory of God.

Please my people be careful in all you do. The Devil can take you unawares . Who knew ordinary groundnut would cause me pain and depression for months. May Jehovah continue to guide us
If i were you i go nack piegon for hin head hin dey crasse.

Plus the boy probably had peanut allergy as no be anyhow person dey chop groundnut so pple fit chop am and dem no go get themselves.

Also nxt time when someone else pikin you don't know ask you to give him groundnut say no, oyinbo get principle like mad so work with that.

May God not allow life pple turn our kindness against us.

Asiwaju's APC has a long way to go! The biggest responsibility their party is saddled with is convincing average Nigerians with so much ethos on why they deserve a second term. One of the biggest gaffe that caught Asiwaju's APC unaware was the mathematical blunder that is faced with rigging an election such that even to the point of counting and final assessment, it has to make sense to the Nigerians, the international body and the electorate. Obi and Atiku were slugging it out when Asiwaju realised that they were lagging behind numbers wise, what did they do? Delay the process which took two more days for them to perfect their mathematical rigging which didn't make sense, states like: Edo, Rivers, Benue which Obi did exceedingly well in up until the point of count, we found out that APC surprisingly won them. The manually process buys them more time to be able to mathematically write their own results which would be hard to disapprove even to the point of tribunal.

Democracy is dead in this part of British West Africa, the signs are already there, one party state, totalitarian political atmosphere...

What happens next is what i don't know of.

Too late!

America's foreign policy on Africa is faulty and needs to be re-worked even though the Chinese are beating them at it, from road construction to value addition, Africa has a lot to gain from the Chinese prescence in Africa, the Americans on the other hand still want to continue the status quo with their military industrial complex on USAID, Military bases that are not benefitial to the continent in any way shape or form. It's a continent of billion plus people that needs to feel the benefit of any form of regional partnership, all of a sudden the Sahaleian countries now have a sense of nationhood protected by Russia which would do anything to make that union thrive. All the best America even though the ship has long sailed.

mactoni91:
Tinubu’s decision to involve Nigeria in the Benin Republic conflict was a serious miscalculation.

Many African countries have been waiting for even the slightest opportunity to challenge or demystify Nigeria’s position as the so-called “Giant of Africa.” At a time when our internal security architecture is already overstretched, sending troops across the border was unnecessary and ill-timed.

What Tinubu should have focused on was strengthening our military from within, especially by decisively dismantling the Islamic terrorist networks that have for years made our armed forces appear weakened and overwhelmed. That internal threat alone has done more damage to Nigeria’s military credibility than any external force.

People will be shocked to know the kind of sophisticated weapons some smaller African nations have acquired. Many of them are quietly backed by major global powers and are more prepared for confrontation than we assume. In a direct face-off, several of these countries can match Nigeria pound for pound, something our leadership seems to ignore.

This entire episode should serve as an eye-opener.

Instead of dragging Nigeria into avoidable regional conflicts, our leaders should be rebuilding and modernizing our military defenses, not creating opportunities for political actors to siphon funds or strategize on election rigging.

Truth is, we have never had it this bad in Nigeria.
