❌Four Categories of People that "Might" Remain Poor Forever❌ 1. Those who do not have access to the right information that is capable of changing their lives. 2. Those who have the right information at their disposal but are too lazy to work it through. Procrastination has bought full plot on the lives of these set. 3. Those who have the right information, ready to work it through but are stopped by what people will say/are saying. 4. Those who believes they can do it by themselves. I call these ones the trial and error gang. I used to be in Number four before I received sense. Add yours |
NO EXCUSE I was talking with one of my students yesterday in our business building session. She's a fashion designer and wanted to know ways she could expand her business and make more money. The truth of the matter is that she just finished learning the craft and had just bought her sewing machine, no shop and no money to rent any at the moment. These were the few things I told her I told her that she doesn't necessarily need to have a shop before she can earn from her skills. 1. She should first of all have a niche, she could decide to focus on Ankara Tops, Jumpsuit, gown, children wear, Mother and child design. etc. She shouldn't be a jack of all design Having a niche will establish her as an authority in that niche and when people think of having such designs, she will be the first on their thoughts. 2. She should make some stunning designs for marketing and visit offices or places where her target audience are to showcase her work. She should let them know that she can either buy and make for them or they bring material for her to sew for them. (1st way to earn) 3. Register on Jumia/Konga to sell her already made wears. (2nd way to earn) 3. She should open a youtube channel where she would be sharing her works from start to finish. (3rd way to earn) 4. Visit youtube to learn latest designs especially those worn by celebrities 5. Share her works and some tips on social media to build more influence 6. Create a page to promote her already made designs. (4th way to earn) 7. When she gets an offer, she would request that they send her their measurement, sew and then get one of the courier companies to handle the delivery etc. I'm glad she didn't only learn but she's very eager to take action immediately. Having a skill and remaining broke is an error.

Hello everyone, Please can anyone help me on how to get a neat room self contained in Agbara. Lagos? It's very urgent. I can pay today if possible. |
A friend of mine had been complaining of not having a job, yesterday she came again with same complaint. She was like "Zaram, help me find job na" See me see trouble o, am I a job agent? I asked her. Lol She said "ahn ahn, sebi you know how to find anything online, help me find job online na". She could say this because I once got a job online and both of us applied and got employed. We did the job for some months and stopped. That was around 2015 This my babe, knows how to cook o, if you taste her food. Hhmmm you might want to abandon your wife's food. So after I thought for a while, I said to her "Why not give yourself a job from your cooking skills"? And she was like "Where the money for that one, you know I had always planned to open a restaurant someday but no money na that's why I want to work and raise some money first" "Work and raise some money", that thought is a scam. If you know you know. I sighed and then went on to tell her this There are lots of ways to make money from cooking but here are the ones I can think of 1. Start a mobile food business by offering to make noodles, sharwama etc on demand from your house, package it and supply to bankers, busy business owners, and even those in their houses around you etc. All you need do is to create awareness of your home Restaurant. You need less than 3k to start. This should be for the packaging and first few orders.. It should be cook on demand. 2. Start a blog and share your cooking skills. 3. You could also Start creating awareness that you can help with cooking for ceremonies by sharing cooking tips on social media. 4. Create cooking courses and sell or start Vlogging. 5. Write a book on the DON'Ts of cooking. and sell it even if it's N500 per copy. After I finished talking to her, she looked at me like I fell from the sky and jumped to give me a hug. Are you like this my friend? if you have a skill/talent. You have no right to be hungry. Create a job around your skills. #Zaram

Sometime last year, I met a guy who sells laptops and phones without owning a shop nor invested a dime into the business. He knew a lot of people who imports laptops and phones in Alaba International Market, Lagos. and he brings customers to these people, they buy and he gets a commission. He does this from the comfort of his home. This is what Igbos call "Osoahia" but this one is in a packaged form. Onyibo people like us call it (Affiliate marketing) You too can start this business and start making a side income if you have the requirements. HOW TO START ? 1. Visit Alaba International Market or computer village Ikeja, Lagos. If you are outside lagos, you can visit the computer shops near you. Collect contacts of those who sell laptops and phones, new and used ones. Make sure you meet a real dealer, not roadside sellers. This is so that you will be sure of who you are dealing with. 2. Tell them you would be bringing customers for them, ask how much you will be getting as commission per customer. After that, Tell them to constantly send you pictures of their new products, price, and names via WhatsApp. Also, make sure you collect the pictures of the current products they have. Every business minded person would agree to this because the overall aim is to sell, it doesn't matter where the sales are coming from. Note_ The dealer might not have time to send you the specs of the products alongside so through the names of the products, Google the specs so you get ready for any question a customer would ask. 3. Go back home, start advertising your goods, Online, offline, Olx, jiji, jumia, konga, etc. Create a facebook page and promote it. You can still add a little money to the original price of the product just to raise your profits. Be proud to tell anyone you sell laptops and phones. Make a business card and boldly give it out. Once you get interested buyers, direct them to the dealer's shop, or you can go there beforehand if you can. Keep in touch with the customer to know if they've bought so you ask for your commission from the dealer. You can also waybill to the ones who want home delivery. This should be pay before delivery. I guess you know why. To build trust with your online followers, you can start posting strategic contents on your social media about laptops and phones. E.g how to spot a fake laptop, how to know if a laptop battery is strong on Etc You can also give reviews on new products. This way, people will begin to trust you when it comes to buying their laptops or phones. In all, build a strong relationship tie with the dealers so they will be open and free to you Also, be grounded with the necessary knowledge about the products you promote. Lastly, be honest. Go and prosper. You want More business ideas Send a message.

How can you claim to be a business person and nobody knows about what you do in your church/religious gathering? So you just go to church, patiently waiting for pastor to share the grace and immediately that is done, you zoom off. "Weh done ma"! Now listen baby girl, there's no better place to advertise about yourself and business other than your religious gathering. Oh No! you don't get hold of the microphone and announce who you are and what you sell. You simply mingle, build relationship with the members, tell them who you are and what you do. Being that you are in same faith, you'll be the first person they remember when they need your kind of goods/services. Stop acting too important than everyone else, stop the "I'm shy" attitude. No matter how important you think you are, you need people to succeed in what ever it is you do. You can't be shy and expect to make money. In fact, making money is for those who are shameless about what they do. Today is another Sunday Service, just make sure you make friends with two or three persons who you know are your potential prospects. Don't rush to sell, just a simple intro of who you are and what you do will do for now. Happy Sunday to you. |
