Do You Know You Can Start Selling Phones And Laptops With Zero Capital? by Zaramgroups(f): 9:31am On Mar 22, 2019
Sometime last year, I met a guy who sells laptops and phones
without owning a shop nor invested a dime into the business.

He knew a lot of people who imports laptops and phones in Alaba International Market, Lagos. and he brings customers to these people, they buy and he gets a commission.

He does this from the comfort of his home.

This is what Igbos call "Osoahia" but this one is in a packaged form. Onyibo people like us call it (Affiliate marketing) You too can start this business and start making a side income if you have the requirements.

HOW TO START
?

1. Visit Alaba International Market or computer village Ikeja, Lagos. If you are outside lagos, you can visit the computer shops near you.

Collect contacts of those who sell laptops and phones, new and used ones.

Make sure you meet a real dealer, not roadside sellers. This is so that you will be sure of who you are dealing with.

2. Tell them you would be bringing customers for them, ask how much you will be getting as commission per customer.

After that, Tell them to constantly send you pictures of their new products, price, and names via WhatsApp.

Also, make sure you collect the pictures of the current products they have.

Every business minded person would agree to this because the overall aim is to sell, it doesn't matter where the sales are coming from.

Note_ The dealer might not have time to send you the specs of the products alongside so through the names of the products, Google the specs so you get ready for any question a customer would ask.

3. Go back home, start advertising your goods, Online, offline, Olx, jiji, jumia, konga, etc. Create a facebook page and promote it. You can still add a little money to the original price of the product just to raise your profits.

Be proud to tell anyone you sell laptops and phones.
Make a business card and boldly give it out.

Once you get interested buyers, direct them to the dealer's shop, or you can go there beforehand if you can.

Keep in touch with the customer to know if they've bought so you ask for your commission from the dealer.

You can also waybill to the ones who want home delivery.

This should be pay before delivery. I guess you know why.

To build trust with your online followers, you can start posting strategic contents on your social media about laptops and phones. E.g how to spot a fake laptop, how to know if a laptop battery is strong on Etc

You can also give reviews on new products.

This way, people will begin to trust you when it comes to buying their laptops or phones.

In all, build a strong relationship tie with the dealers so they will be open and free to you
Also, be grounded with the necessary knowledge about the products you promote.

Lastly, be honest.
Go and prosper.
