olasaad: What's the difference between teacher voice and that of reciter, I think both are still imitation.
*Beautification*Their is one hadith that says Allah love it most, when an individual is reciting the Holy Quran in a loud and melodious form so that is what I always follow. I mean the hadith Don't get me wrong sis, A reciter can be your teacher as well if you are learning from him. Have not heard about that hadith but I know about an ayat in suratul muzzamil verse 4. Thank Allah you can beautify the Qur’ân, so many people are struggling with that |
Islam › Re: Is Reading The Qu'ran Following The Recitation From An Audio Permissible? by zarinaAin: 6:00pm On Feb 24, 2017 |
olasaad: Yes I can but it won't be melodious like reading along with audio That means you are imitating the reciter's voice. I used to do that before till I get a tajweed teacher, now I imitate him whenever he reads. I think it's normal to copy your teacher esp in things you don't know. Just discover your voice, avoid changing your pattern of reading. Whenever you are reciting, remember you are doing it to please Allah not anyone Beautification of the voice is a gift from Allah and may He increase you in that. |

olasaad: I always do it too but my younger brother told me is not proper but me I like it has it has helped me alot in reading well with the right tajweed and most importantly in memorizing both the short and the long surah. That's why I don't stop it. Can you read the letters of the Quran. I mean can you read surahs you haven't memorized on your own without tajweed (without using the audio)? Or you use the audio for memorization |

dupzy05: Asalam alaykum waramotullah sisters in the house pls why I'd hijab too expensive? The reason for me asking this question is that I saw an article on instagram on a sisters page not knowing she sew and sells veils and wears i askd how much she said 6500 for a gown only.that so expensive such is nt encouraging at all. If you mean hijab (6,500)it shouldn't be upto that. But a gown worth more depending on the material, style, stylist popularity, delivery cost if it's online transaction I sew khimar (hijab) for #250 at the market but a gown is more than that |

here is an excerpt on this issue from shaykh saalih al-munajid's website:
Ibn Qudaamah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in al-Mughni (3/38):
A woman may recite out loud in prayers where Qur’aan is recited out loud, but if there are men present, she should not recite out loud, unless they are her mahrams, in which case she may do that.
Al-Nawawi said in al-Majmoo’ (3/390):
With regard to women, most of our companions said that if she is praying on her own, or in the presence of other women or men who are her mahrams, she may recite out loud, whether she is leading other women in prayer or praying alone. But if she is praying in the presence of non-mahram men she should recite silently… This is our opinion… al-Qaadi Abu al-Tayyib said: The ruling on saying Allaahu akbar in prayers where Qur’aan is recited out loud and prayers where it is recited silently is the same as the ruling on reciting Qur’aan.

Asalam Alaykum. I have questions 1.when you miss the tekbiratul ihram and the Imam is already in ruku. Normally one would perform the missed tekbir. The question is are you to perform the tekbir we normally do before going to ruku (in other word, are you to observe two tekbirs before joining the imam in ruku)
1.when a lady is reciting Quran in her room (like a murajah), is it compulsory on her to put on Hijab or scarf. Is it also compulsory on other women around the environment to cover their hair
3..In a female hotel, when someone is observing solat, is it compulsory for others to be fully dressed
4.on Friday, what time is best to conclude the qaf recitation, Is it before jumuah or after. Is it valid to recite qaf after the jumuah prayer has ended
5.please illustrate to ruku properly, will the arms be straight or bent hereby revealing the armpit
Jazakumullah khayran |

I am good alhamdulliah. Just a little sick but I am fine.
How about you?
I am really happy you were able to get a teacher. Maybe we should study together sometime .
I haven't made much progress with Tajweed unfortunately . I am still in meem sakinah and I haven't practiced a lot of it.
Disturb us as much as you can. Each 'disturbance' will be a source of motivation and a means of blessing for us in sha Allah. I'm fine, ALHAMDULILAHI May Allaah grant you complete state of wellbeing. I don't think we are in the same state regarding the murajaa, a physical tutorial would be better. I look forward to meeting you one day IN SHA ALLAH. Please don't relent on your lesson. Repetition teaches the donkey, a donkey is one of the dullest animal but with continuous repetition, he will learn and we are better than the donkey. May Allaah increase us in retention memory, knowledge and concentration |
