Dramadiddy:
a lot.. Lets do it like this.. Gimme the chord (s) nd i ll tell u what scale works with it (them)
1) C Major7th
2) C minor7th
3) C dominant7th
Music/RadioRe: A Thread For Keyboardists by zbone(m): 4:08pm On Nov 10, 2014
Dramadiddy:
modal scales depend on degree.. So do-1 (major scale), re-2 (dorian), mi-3 (phygrian), fa-4 (lydian), so-5 (mixolydian), la-6 (aoelian), ti-7 (locrian)....
i am not sure u get me, if I am playing a C7 on my left hand I could play the C Dorian scale(which is basically playing the Bflat scale but starting and ending on keyC) or I could play the C blues scale. So my question is what other scale and chords work together?

Dramadiddy:
nd im sure u knw ur modal scales just use em
how do you know what modal scale will work for what chord?
I need examples pls
Music/RadioRe: A Thread For Keyboardists by zbone(m): 8:48am On Nov 10, 2014
Karleb:
No! They are to be played on the right hand while you play your baselines on the left hand.

Passing chords are to be used when you have a rest i.e instead of staying on a Chord when you have a rest simply use passing chord to move to the next main chord.
thanks got it.
Music/RadioRe: A Thread For Keyboardists by zbone(m): 11:04pm On Nov 09, 2014
Karleb:
Yes!

And this is the interpretation.

Chord V -Chord IIm- Chord IV

Chord II - Chord IImaj- Chord V

Chord III - Chord III maj- Chord VI

chord I - Chord VI# maj- Chord IV

The slash chords are in -this-, now you can use that for any major key at all.
so for chord v you play the chord ll min on the L.H and the chord IV on the R.H?

Karleb:
Yes, and they were nothing but awesome.

Just try to formulate them on time because I don't see you getting less busier by the day, not with that 45 minutes sad solo.
the slash chords gameboi gave how did u interpret them cos I couldn't understand what he wrote.

@dramadiddy
are you in a choir where they are going to perform d song or u just learnt the song for your personal self. the key changes on the song are technical, and it will take a really good choir to pull it off.

thanks again. now i've got a solution to those rhythmic movements in intros. they say the secret to playing fast is to first be able to play it slow.
Music/RadioRe: A Thread For Keyboardists by zbone(m): 8:29am On Nov 06, 2014
Dramadiddy:
Yea they have a lot of apps that slow down music.. I use maple, its on play store
thanks guys, I'll check dis out. I asked about dis cos dere are some songs in which u really want to get hidden details in its intro but sometimes its just to fast so when u play it, u play it close but not exactly as it was on d song. I have tried using my normal media player to slow down music but it changes the key of the key of d song.

chibwike: When i was a kid...we had this visitor....whose eyes were so big..I initially went to ease my self, on coming back i met the visitor at the parlour. Instead of me greeting him...i just screamed "uncle your eyes are too big"...immediately the man felt embarrased...he had to tell me to shut up..buh i was still screaming "your eyes are to big uncle"...till my dad got his cane and beat the daylight out of me...it was one hilarious experience.
lmao grin
