Tuesday morning four people confirmed dead with many others severely injured, following a horrific tragedy that occurred at the Aba River Bridge, Ogbor-Hill, Aba, Abia State.

According to our correspondent who was on the scene of the incident reports that the accident occurred when a trailer carrying a 40-feet container, fall from Ogbor-Hill, lost control after break failure and hit two cars at the top of the Aba River Bridge.

The largest Abia abattoir, known as Ahia-Udele, had to relocate after a terrible incident occurred in the Aba River over the years, However, this latest tragedy is the first since the market was moved.

Israeli airstrikes Gaza demolished the cardiac department of the main hospital and killed over a dozen people, while fighting has continued in the beleaguered strip for 37 days running.

On Sunday 13 people were killed in an Israeli air strike on a home in Khan Younis, According to Gaza officials.

Report from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), a strike at a UN facility in Gaza City the day before left at least “several people” dead and injured. Hundreds of Palestinians had taken refuge there.

The UNDP declared in a statement that “the ongoing tragedy of death and injury to civilians ensnared in this conflict is unacceptable and must stop.”

The charge was contained in an appeal composed by an individual from the University's Governing Council, Dr Nelson O'Amanze Udenze.

It was uncovered that the Vice Chancellor was also accused for impregnating a third year female student of accounting in 2017. He allegedly upgraded the student to final year status without any examination, allegedly graduated her and allegedly quickly sent her abroad to close the trial.
