Agbalowomeri: If you say someone is no more, it means he or she is dead. Eng 101 Yes that's the common use. But can't it equally mean no more running the biz? I also said 'perhaps', bicos I wasn't sure of anything. |

elpaso007: Hmm... The founder is dead? I didn't know that. Did he die recently? That's sad though.
But one will believe they ought to have a system in place to sustain the business beyond him.
Financial institutions, tend to have a better structure & succession planning.
Not only capital raise, I hope SEC/NHS should I be strong on QoS & customer experience too. I didn't say founder is dead oo..... you shoot from the hip. I said perhaps, because we're searching for answers. May his days be long. He could be just retired from the business. |

elpaso007: I am worried about them too. Something is amiss there. The quality of service has fallen off. It is too significant for one not to notice. From time lag during trade sessions to unusually delayed payouts and sell funds not being instantly available for repurchase.
I wondering what could be responsible for this? Loss of quality staffs? Low fees?
What else than, perhaps, the founder and original visioner is no more, and the biz is fallen into the hand of a mediocre? |

ositadima1: The question of where the Israelites—and by extension, the Jewish people—originally came from is a point where the Bible, Archaeology, and Genetics offer slightly different, but overlapping, stories.
If the Jebusites and other Canaanite groups were the "original" inhabitants of Jerusalem, here is the breakdown of the three main theories on the Israelite origin:
1. The Biblical Account (Mesopotamia & Egypt) According to the Torah (the first five books of the Bible), the Israelites were not "indigenous" to the land of Canaan but were a family that migrated there. * The Patriarch (Abraham): The Bible states Abraham came from Ur of the Chaldeans (modern-day Iraq/Mesopotamia). He migrated to Canaan as a nomad. * The Sojourn (Egypt): His descendants later migrated to Egypt to escape a famine. * The Exodus: Under Moses, they left Egypt and spent 40 years in the desert before "conquering" the land of Canaan from the tribes already living there (the Canaanites, Jebusites, Hittites, etc.).
2. The Archaeological Perspective (Internal Evolution) Modern archaeology tells a different story that challenges the "conquest" narrative. Most archaeologists today believe that the Israelites were actually a subgroup of Canaanites who broke away from the main population. * The "Highland" Settlement: Around 1200 BCE, new, simple villages began appearing in the rocky central highlands (the area around the West Bank). * Distinct Culture: These people looked like Canaanites, spoke a Canaanite dialect (Hebrew), and used Canaanite tools. However, they stopped eating pork and stopped worshipping the full pantheon of Canaanite gods (like Baal), focusing instead on a single deity. * The Theory: Rather than an "invasion" from Egypt, many scholars believe the Israelites were oppressed Canaanite peasants or nomadic herders who fled the wealthy, corrupt city-states on the coast to start their own egalitarian society in the hills.
3. The Genetic Perspective (Common Roots) DNA studies conducted on both modern Jews and modern Palestinians show a fascinating result: Both groups share a massive amount of DNA with the ancient Bronze Age Canaanites.
* The Reality: This proves that the "different groups" you mentioned earlier—who inhabited the land after the Roman exile—were often the same people, just under different names, religions (Christianity, then Islam), and languages (Aramaic, then Arabic). * The Split: Genetically, the ancestors of the Jews and the ancestors of the Palestinians were largely the same people living in the Levant thousands of years ago. One group eventually identified as "Israelite," while others remained and eventually became the modern Arab population of the region.
The last paragraph of of your post, the Split, supports the theory that Jews and Arabs are descended from Abraham which is why Trump is uniting them with the Abraham Accord. The Jews were the children of Isaac, the second son of Abraham while the Arabs are the children of Ishmael, the first son. Or perhaps the descendants of both Ishmael and Essau. Fast-forward to the modern day conflict, my support for Israel is not on point of religion. I am a Christian, and Israel is not a Christian Nation. Christianity is only the third popular religion in Israel, even lower on the ladder than Islam. My support is based on natural justice. There is no room for two states there. Two states creation will not be two states co-existence there . Two states solution will be two states destruction because of the numerous jihadi groups sworn to the obliteration of Israel that will congregate in the Palestinian State and use it as a launch-base to actualise their genocidal ideology against Israel. Israel must maintain security between the River Jordan and the Mediterranean Sea and must remain a Jewish majority country. There are at least 50 Muslim majority and at least 20 Arab majority nations on Earth. Israel is the one Jewish majority country on Earth and needs to remain so no matter how antisemitic leftists of America and Eurabia cry racism. |

I am sure that the 1 for 1 was dictated by the regulator as part of the investigation and crackdown on "manipulaton" with intent to reduce scarcity by doubling OS. megawealth01: WOW
I can't wait to see OANDO perform as high as 189 Well, Brent is on the way back from the moon, though still in outer space. But the crisis is still very much on, and likely to escalate greatly in the coming days. The Strait of Hormuz is closed by Iran who, emboldened by the spiritual strength from having just cloned back a Kharmenei onto the seat of Supreme Leader, are telling America to bring it on over the Strait. Trump on his own part is telling Iran that if they don't let off over the Strait, they will begin to see the real war, implying that what they had been seeing was play. Richard Quest of CNN said this morning that the only reason oil price had not reached maars by now is because there was global oil glut before the crisis started. I'm watching all this closely because of my Oando JIJO. War is bad, but I didn't cause it, and cannot settle it. |

zendi: And why celebrate women for only 1 day out of 365/6 ?
This is not an argument for gender equality.
Men are clearly superior to women in physical, violent, endurance and leadership roles. You need to see children being raised without a father. But to single out just 1 day of 365 and say it's for women looks unfair insulting and dehumanizing to me.
Better we just celebrate life and entire humanity every day.
I reject for the women in my life the Women's Day whether you call it International or National.
Go to Church.
