Plz guys who have traveled, did you use Travelstart for your flight bookings? Did you experience any issue with them? They seem to have the cheapest fare rates but I'm reading a lot of negative reviews. Are there better options?

My candid advice,

Do not bother with the FRSC Letter. It is better you get the G2 drive for a while and understand their driving rules. It is way different from Nigeria.
If you are lucky and they waive G2 the probability of you failing the G drive test is 90% and you will spend more.

Please if you disagree, remember it is my candid advice - not for everyone. If you know you know.

Well, I only gave an account of my experience. Good luck to anyone that takes the FRSC letter to Drive test and they waive G2.

This is not correct. My husband's FRSC letter was accepted in Oakville, Ontario. Check Ontario's Ministry of Transportation handbook, it is there.

I came in in Jan. Went for my test in March and went with the letter. I already had about 9 years driving experience from Nigeria and it was not accepted. They (Drive test) told me; they only accept letters from the embassy.

Well you can shoot your shot, it could swing either ways.

Not correct. I used this letter (from FRSC in Nigeria) in Ontario in April. Got me the G2 exit test for a G Licence.

With the US license, I am sure it will work.

I have a US license which after self declaring 1yr experience, should get me the G2 license without a road test. Then I'll self declare another 1yr experience from naija so I can take the G test whenever I'm ready. That's the plan.

Forget the shortcut. Just come and do your G1 test and then schedule the G2 Driving test afterwards, you can get your G2 in 2 months after writing the G1. With your G2 you can drive anywhere and anytime. Only restrictions on Alcohol level. 0% alcohol at all times while driving.

Do you know if the letter is still required if you choose to self declare only 1yr driving history from Nigeria? Their website says no, but I just want to confirm. I plan to self declare 1yr from naija and 1yr from US.

Do not bother yourself with the DL Authentication letter from FRSC, they will not accept it at drive test centers. The only acceptable form is a letter from the Nigerian Embassy in Ottawa. Well, I do not know of other provinces but I can speak about Ontario.

Pls what is the validity timeline for the DL authentication letter. I want to know when best to request for it so that it will still be valid as at when I will land or any suggestion from anyone, i intend to land in October first week.

I got married 2009 and I noticed that my husband and I did not appear at the registry for the court thing, We only paid a lady some amount and gave her our names passport photos and she brought the forms for us to take to the church. She said we needed to fill the form in the church and return back to her.

We are just curious. Is this court thing real how do we verify the certificate given to us to be sure its not fake...

Anyone with any information. I really want to verify this.

So when you get a mail that "Your Visa has been processed" means they have issued the visa. But if the mail reads "Your Visa Application has been processed" Then its otherwise.

Just got this mail from Teleperformance.

"UK Visas & Immigration has now assessed your UK visa application and made a decision. Your documents and the decision will be sent back to the either the UK Visa Application Centre where you applied, where we will contact you by email over the next few days to collect them, or if you are using the courier return service, will be sent directly back to the address you provided."

Can I go pick it up tomorrow?

I just received an email saying "Your visa has now been processed and is ready for collection."

Is it that my application has been approved and visa Granted?

Multilinks have started something crazy for users on 15hr/50hr/100hr data plan. They now have download limits for them. The 15hr data plan now have 253MB data quota for the month.

Please what is wrong with multilinks, I have a feeling they are making serious loss and abt to close shop. Their internet is the best as par CDMA. But they are really going under big tyme from internal sources.

Please anyone got additional info should post.

I feel your pains reading posts like this online. But what do they do when they are in a society that does not listen. Management does not want to listen. They feel whatever they are doing is best and best for the company. They are so concern about their own selfish interest and not interest of other members of staff.

And Mind you, THAT ALLOWANCE they call PROFIT SHARING IS PART OF their SALARY. Its only TAGGED profit sharing ITS A FRACTION OF their ANNUAL PAY, it their entitlement and their right.

So Maitema, please you could just keep your trap closed before dirt comes out of it.
