That's odd. The major pairs combined posted a net change of 800+ pips last week to the upside and currently 1200+ pips to the down side this week. Should've been able to grab something from that?

Gold and Oil may be trending now but their range periods are more unforgiving than currencies.

Just saying you shouldn't base your decision on one week (or even month) of trading data.

My bro forgive me I wrote that out of anger. I have made money on currencies but not much compared to CFD's, indices, metals and so on.

i agree with commodity, mental,metals, CFD's, indicies etc bring in more money than currency/ only if you master the Act

Commodities can stretch one to the limits though I urge newbies to start from there as CFD's and indicies can be erratic most of the times.

That was before I took keen interest in indicies, energy, CFD's and co. It takes time for currencies to hit your exit points than the aforementioned commodities. Can you imaging that I am yet to make or lose something on currencies this new year while I have entered and exited oil and gold alone up to seven times this year with better returns. I am tired.

I think it's high time I stopped trading currencies. I can no longer cope with the excessive roller-coaster moves and inconsistent swings of currencies. Time to move to metals, CFD's, indicies etc. I can't deal again biko.

Let me add up:
1. Be consistent in what exactly you saw or analyzed before you entered these trades
2. Forget emotions, if a direction is yours it will be yours; do not force it when your approach is not set.
3. I noticed your lots are not regular, be careful............Why? if you enter 10 trades with 0.01 and you make wonderful trades with them, say you gather about 700.0 pips; all of a sudden you use 0.05 pips, please note that only about 150 pips against you will clear all your profits you already gathered with the 10 pairs which of course must have been gathered through hard work.

Take a close look at my trades one more time you will notice that, when it comes to fx pairs I am consistent with my size hence the 0.05 lots. But when it comes to metals with the exception of silver, indices, energy etc due to their expensive nature, I have decided to trade them with nothing more than 0.01 lot size as one can't go lower than that. Thank you once again for watching a brother's back.

Nikkei 225 is there as #N225 under "Indices".
I guess USOil should be crude light which can be found under "Futures Energy" as #CL

Thank you Mr. Feshizzy for your helpful insights. With your help I have realized where i went wrong.

1. I didn't take note of the support zones you highlighted maybe because I marked mine from the Daily TF.

2. My lack of knowledge on how to use trendlines maybe the reason I am fearful on the slightest occurrence of retracements (can you tutor me on that?).

Thank God this is not my main live account. Just following the advise of a friend who told me not to jump straight to live account with huge capital that it would do me good to start with a capital that I can afford to lose just to master my strategy and emotions that rarely comes from demo trading.
