1) Use other people's content and link back to them..

2) Give photo credit whenever u use someone's pictures.

3) Always backup daily, hourly or per minute..

4) If u don't have money to get a custom domain and maintain it for years use a free platform.

5) Copyright infringement is a serious offence always look for free images by asking google..

6) Linda ikeji is lucky to be living in Nigeria... Getty images probably noticed this and suspended their case for now...(If she ever goes to yankee and comes back without been arrested that would be a miracle)..

7) Linda ikeji can get her domain names back by placing a bid on it now so that once it expires she'll automatically get it back unless the person renews it before her or after reading this.

8 ) Be more than just a blogger know how the internet works.

9) Getting a domain won't protect any site from attacks... Website security is important.

Just my opinion...
Webmasters › Re: Moral Of Linda Ikeji Blog Luckdown by zeroshadow: 12:49pm On Oct 10, 2014
At first the guy only reported the site and some articles were deleted... It was after he mentioned @gettyimages in his tweet that her blog was removed.

Gettyimages might have also reported her to google... The blog is probably back up cos some peeps are gathering evidence that's on her blog against her.

She's lucky she doesn't live in U.S.

Note: this is just my opinion... I may be wrong.

It seems the site has been taken down again.... she should redirect and backup... if it ever comes back online

Linda's blog is back up...

Nigerian bloggers are probably hoping linda ikeji's blog would be Google's final stop... since it was due to a complaint the blog was removed... but the bigger issue is GOOGLE might have its eyes on Nigerian blogs... They're gonna make their bots rain on naija bloggers...
but what's so hard in buying domain names and renewing it yearly. If I had just 5% of her income monthly the amount of domain names I would buy ehhh.. she doesn't know anything about internet marketing... meaning she's just lucky her blog became popular.... she has enough money to bounce back as long as the "case" ends there.

Just speculations

just my opinion.

The Truth is i once believed that clickbank does not accept nigerians but the fact is Clickbank accept Nigerians but does not support Nigeria. So if you want to operate clickbank here in nigeria all you need is a payoneer account to accept payment here in nigeria. and a us address. You can get one using shippyme.com or onlinegateway. i use shippyme.

As for amazon, you can also use payoneer, and not just that they can mail you your check to your location here in nigeria. if they are asking you for tax information then it means you answered that you are a us citizen. If you answered you are from nigeria, they won't ask you for tax.
Clickbank does not accept Nigerians... Nigeria is not an accepted country on the site. I tried registering some years ago and just 4 days ago I tried again. But still the same thing.

Amazon requires tax info for kdp affiliates(checked last week).. I've not checked amazon affiliates recently but the last time I checked it required tax info.

I've been earning online for the over 5 years don't tell me what I already know unless they've made changes but I don't care cos there are other sites that accept Nigerians without any hassles.
