Properties › Re: Cost Of Building Event Centre/multi-purpose Halls? by Zest001: 1:42pm On Aug 24, 2016
Na wa oh! I think the writer simply wants to have 'an idea' of the price from 'professionals' in the house

Its similar to asking what the price of an airline ticket is to xyz destination, I don't think you need a 'special' quotation for that
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Total Nigeria Recruitment Sham(conversion Or Confusion) by Zest001: 3:49pm On May 07, 2010
Why I perceive the grief in the writer's mail, I want to say this:

1. If a person claims to be a 'high flyer' and the company you work for or have worked for for many years
does not recognise that. Then what are you waiting forhuh Go showcase your skills elsewhere! Infact
you will NOT be writing this because you will be a 'hot cake' that is highly sort after.

2. Contract staffing is not wrong in itself as some job positions do not necessarily require permanency
"unfortunately the word Contract staff is being basterdized in Nigeria" In some countries and even in
Nigeria some professionals prefer to work on contract basis to give them some level of freedom.

3. One of the major problems with Nigeria is the lack of viabrant industries else people will not be in
this 'do or die' situation of wanting to work in Oil producing companies.

My conclusion - The above story is 'somehow'
Business › Re: Is Nigeria Doomed? by Zest001: 11:08pm On Jun 23, 2008
You are not talking nonsense, these are the same questions i've
been asking myself lately

Our Leaders are alwaz looking outward in the name of attracting
foreign investors, ever failing to look inwards in terms of development
of her rich human and material resources
Career › Re: Is It Right For Would-be Employers To Request Employment Letters/payslips? by Zest001(op): 7:04pm On May 18, 2008
I really do not know
Career › Is It Right For Would-be Employers To Request Employment Letters/payslips? by Zest001(op): 4:54pm On May 18, 2008
Just wondering, saw something that really thrilled me, a candidate was invited for an
APTITUDE TEST (not even an interview) and the recruiters were demanding
all manner of documents including letter of current employment and payslips.
I thought things like these were confidential and not for a 3rd party?

Anybody got any idea why?
Romance › Re: Why Do Guys Lose Interest In Relationships After The Chase? by Zest001: 9:43pm On Mar 08, 2008
My take on this, any guy/gal that calls and sends endless text msgs daily is one or all of the below:

1. Immature
2. Jobless/Not busy
3. Too desperate
4. Does not look before leaping
5. Does not know what he/she wants
6. Lacks self control
7. Infatuated

And therefore easily gets fed up with the whole show!
Business › Re: Which Bank Is The Most Customer Friendly In Nigeria? by Zest001: 7:17pm On Mar 03, 2008
Am surprised that  nobody has mentioned ECOBANK, the WORST bank of all with ever battle ready and rude staff.

As for INTERCONTINENTAL, i can't place them, you go to one branch they are very nice, to another very slow but they are generally not rude

ZENITH bank, that is were you find very proud and arrogant personalities, though they can be fast in attending to you atimes
Dating And Meet-up Zone › Re: Im Married But I Need A Male Friend by Zest001: 6:58pm On Nov 23, 2007
Please try not to take the nasty response of some people in this forum to heart.
It's only a product of our individual differences.

What I just want to know from you is hw/if all the numerous advice posted has
helped you in anyway.
If they've not, i'd advice u discontinue reading anymore post on this subject and
begin to look inwards for solution.

One thing, NEVER allow anyone blame u or make u feel bad or responsible for ur
husband's negative behaviour.

Everyone is responsible for his or her own actions
Dating And Meet-up Zone › Re: Im Married But I Need A Male Friend by Zest001: 10:32pm On Nov 16, 2007
I've read through the many advice given u. I can imagine how confusing it might be for you. Situations like this have a way of making you reason in ways you never thought or imagined.  The truth about life is that IT TAKES YOU AND ONLY YOU TO GET OUT OF ANY NEGATIVE SITUATION you may find yourself whether you read books, fast, pray, talk to or make friends etc. (Now don't get me wrong, all of that is great). But if you can't  PICTURE yourself happy and your marriage working it will just be all a futile exercise. Once your mind is made up  be it in the right or wrong direction things just begin to go  that way for you.

Three (3) things I'd say here

1. Allow your husband to be responsible for his wrong doings i.e allow him the space and time to get back to himself (cos he definitely will)

2. Stay away as much as possible from blaming/accusing (it only compounds issues)

3. What do you see? A home filled with laughter, joy, peace? OR a battlefield?

The choice is all yours! Make up your mind. Use your will power, its right there within you
