The Civic and the Corolla are in the same category. Some will arguably say the civic is more easier to maintain than the Corolla. Though it’s a proven fact that it’s more sleeker and fun to drive than the Corolla. But the Corolla is a TOYOTA and you know what that name means on Nigerian Roads (RELIABILITY)

PS: Corolla is a thief magnet so don’t park your car overnight outside so you don’t wake out the next morning to Brainbox and other things missing

Nimc office nationwide is shut except the ones at immigration offices which allows only people who applied for epassport.

If you want to do change of date of birth with nimc, it has to pass three different offices including DG office at Abuja before the change is effected. That's why it takes maximum of three months to be completed.Those offices are currently under lock for official purpose.

You can use nimc at immigration offices to register or modify any data in your NIN since they can handle swift service that doesn't need any approval from above

But this issh is really dumb.. Change of name and other data can be done easily but change of DOB is so so hard.. Haba. Why kind of mess up system is that

Its better you wait and do it officially. If you need the passport urgently. forfeit the 26k you paid and do the festac own

With this pandemic there's no immediate need for the passport.. I'm just waiting for NIMC Ikeja to.open up so I can apply there or maybe I would try another state NIMC self if it's possible

I was there yesterday and they said they only print slip and doesn't do modification of age for now cuz of covid except unofficially which attracts extra 30k+15k for official payment. If not that I have already made payment for epassport, I would just go to immigration office at festac and do ordinary standard passport that doesn't require NIN.

If they don't open next month, I may just go for standard passport that doesn't require NIN

I swear I'm in the same situation.. I don't know what next to do.. Charging that much after paying 15k is very HIGH and unnecessary. I even tried negotiating to 15k plus the official 15k they just ignored me.. Its really frustrating. If I hadn't paid for the new passport.. I would have gone to festac and done the old one

1st confirm if your DOB on your old P matches the DOB on your NIN.. Then Apply for the new passport to get it quicker. Might be Abit delayed coz of the coronavirus. Old passport booklets ain't available according to what peeps are saying. Try to apply in Abuja or places with less demand to get it faster..
