Patrickker: I think a black South Africans is naturally wired to be COMPETITIVE and ENVIOUS especially of a fellow black who is doing better than them. If there is anything they guide to the latter and make sure they practicalize is their vituperative tendencies towards a fellow black man.
The Ghanaians I must say aren't deep haters as the South Africans. They know when to quit. They also know when to turn up and support. The Ghanaians don't argue too much like the South Africans do. That is the difference. If I were to choose who to go with, with all things being equal, I would still a million times choose Ghanaians. They are very reasonable and lovable people with a soft heart that melt after time, but you see South Africans they believe in violence and killings as the ultimate penalty.
We West Africans slept for far too long on developing our region in particular and then our countries in general. If only we made strides like the other regions did/are doing, a lot of stuff would have been avoided.
In my years of engagement on social media, the country that hates Nigeria/Nigerians without apologies is South Africa. They want the Ghanaians to follow them hating on Nigerians but the Ghanaians sometimes backtrack. The rest of Africans see Nigeria/Nigerians differently. South Africans do not hate Nigerians, they hate the fact that Nigerians hate themselves. For example Nigerians bleach their skins, Nigerians destroyed their cities intentionally and now they are flooding other countries, Nigerians worship whites, nigeria undermine everything Nigerian, Nigerians are not fighting to develop Nigeria else they migrate to other countries. Nigerians prefer European soccer league over theirs. Nigerians prefer European health care Nigerians prefer European education. Nigerians prefer to wear Arabic traditional cloth than African attires. Nigerians prefer to worship Arabic religion than African religion. |

daveP: You couldn't even destroy Senegal. Mothlalo is injured too. Different ball game loading. Might be a repeat of the Zambia result. The problem today, our star seoposenwe was not on form. Nigeria will get more than 4 goals. Safa promised banyana Banyana players big bonuses to motivate them to beat Nigeria. |

Iknowhow: I keep seeing people here saying “Develop your country and You do not have to travel.” This is largely not true.
While I agree with the statement, we need to realize that a lot of Nigerians travel for different reasons.
You might not know the effect of this until a member of your family is affected.
Having a good country shouldn’t limit you from traveling.
It’s just so sad to see people saying that this is a good thing just because it doesn’t directly affect them now . It might affect you or someone in your family tomorrow.
Let’s be open-minded as things could go both ways. You are wrong, Nigerians should stay at home and stop being burdens on other countries. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Trump Displays DRC Visual As Proof Of South African 'genocide' by zhike: 9:27am On May 27, 2025 |
KLEINBASS: US President Donald Trump brandished a stack of printed articles at the White House Wednesday that he claimed documented a genocide taking place against white people in South Africa.
Mixed into the deck of papers he unveiled before South African leader Cyril Ramaphosa, however, was a months-old blog post featuring a photo from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
"Death of people, death, death, death, horrible death, death," Trump said as he flipped through the headlines, which he said were published in "the last few days."
"These are all people that recently got killed."
Trump and his allies have spread baseless claims of a "genocide" targeting white farmers in South Africa, claims that the government in Pretoria has dismissed as false.
At the bilateral meeting in the Oval Office on Wednesday, the US president held up a February article about tribalism in Africa from a little-known website called "American Thinker."
It featured a blown-up image showing Red Cross workers in protective gear handling body bags.
"Look, here's burial sites all over the place," said Trump. "These are all white farmers that are being buried."
But the image is a screengrab from a February YouTube video of Red Cross workers responding after women were raped and burned alive during a mass jailbreak in the Congolese city of Goma, according to its caption.
The Indian news outlet WION published the video, using footage supplied by Reuters.
Overall, about 75 people are murdered every day in South Africa, most of whom are young black men in urban areas, according to police figures. I was so disappointed with Trump because I thought he had concrete evidence with the allegations he made about South Africa. He just showed a video of Malema singing in Stadium, he showed a video of lot of Graves which is not in South Africa. He also said why is Malema not Jailed, which was unnecessary question because Malema did not commit any crime. He also said all farmers are white in South Africa which is not correct. |

KLEINBASS: Who ever bewitched Nigeria with Europe and America worshipping messed them up. Do you know some would even buy frozen pizza in Europe. Is insane that the whole country’s dream is to jabba to a better country instead of developing their country including soccer. I think they have given up with anything that says Nigeria and they think Africa as a whole is messed up like them 😂😂😂😂, is funny to hear that they even buy frozen pizzas in Europe. Indeed, based on what I hear in this platform it seems like the dream of every Nigerian is to migrate from Nigeria and go to be a burden in other countries. May God bless Nigerians so that their mindset could change. |

KLEINBASS: actually if you are following the current CAF league and take time to watch South Africa, North Africa and Tanzania league you will see the development and the quality of the leagues. The truth is Africans football have developed and Nigerians have been left behind Well said, I 100 percent agree with you. |

stacyadams: not inferiority complex..Africa refused to develop in all sectors Who should be blamed for Nigeria's underdeveloped? Who should develop Nigeria? If Nigerians do not love Nigeria, who will love Nigeria. FYI, south Africans watch and support their domestic league. SOUTH AFRICANS don't support EPL, they even believe betway premier league is better than EPL. |
