Back to the second thing you can import.

In the year 2011, I imported Brazilian human hair. My dear friends , before I start, I would like to let you know that online business is the easiest business you can do ones you have little computer knowledge. And also try to do researches on what people needed.

Brazilian hair 100% kanekelon , they come in sizes and makes. They have 10 inches, 12 inches, etc. the lesser the inches the lesser the price.

Some I bought for $20 ( now 3220 naira) was sold for 12, ooo- 15,000 naira.

Third thing I imported was calculator ruler. Lols, some people might ask what is that, but I tell you the truth, it added enough money to my pockets.
This is how is goes , you will be giving minimum order quantity, let say 3,000 - 5000 pieces. In my case, I ordered for 5,000 pieces.

Now this is the mathematics:
5,000 * $0.40. = $2,000 ( 322,000 naira.)

Dhl cost. $200 (32,200 naira)

Bank charges $55 (8,855 naira)

Custom duty charges (12,750)

Now total expenses :
322,000 + 32,200 + 8,855 + 12,750= 375,805 naira.( total cost of money invested)

Now sales : I supplied them to about eight different schools bookshop at the rate of 150 naira.

5000* 150 naira. = 750,000 naira.

Now profit: profit = total sales - expenses

750,000 - 375,805 naira = 374,195 naira

N/B. dollar was Calulated by 161. Current exchange.

Isn't it a good one.

I would like to thank Donald for a work well done. He is in did full of ideas.

Now I want to contribute a little. For the area of photograph, he is 100% right. With a budget of 50,000 naira, you can start a photograph biz. For those who are students, you can do that and add little money to you pockets.
The question now is how can 50,000 naira start the photograph biz. Here is how it goes.
Get a HiTi digital photo printer. - 30,000
Get a digital camera. (Sony). 17,000
Get a chair. 1,500
Total cost. 48,500 naira. You see now that you can start the biz on a small scale and also save more.

Secondly, I would like to comment on the area of online importation. This business to me is a stress free business and very lucrative. Infact , I do it as a part time business. It's very lucrative, but you have to be aware of the people's demand. Let me share some tip here on some of the products I have imported so far, so that some people can learn from there.
In 2010, I imported car diagnosis , it's a tool used to check faults from cars.
The question now would be how much was involved and how did I go about selling them and how much profit was involved . But trust me, ENOUGH PROFIT.
These are the break downs:
The tool was sold for $125 ( autel JP 701).
4 pieces ( that was the quantity I orderd for) * $125 = $500 ( equivalent to 80,500 naira)

Cost of dhl. $70 (11,270 naira)

Bank charges $20-$25 ( 3220 - 4025 naira)

Total amount involved = 95,795 naira( that's the total amount I invested.

Now, the tool was sold for 50,000 naira each.
50,000 * 4 = 200,000 naira - 95,795

Profit. 104,205 naira.

Political science isn't a professional course. They would cut 180, so I believe you are still in-line with you pursuit. Just try harder in post ume.

Too many hope. I think, they wouldn't cut above 180. So put more effort in post ume.
