Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigeria Customs Recruitment 2019. How To Apply. 3,200 Officers To Be Recruited by zikkman:
I went to NCS Headquarters, Abuja, today. I met somebody in the Public Relations Unit. He said that, very soon, we will be contacted for "documentation and appointment letter". When I asked how soon, he said he doesn't have first-hand information about it. But it's going to be "as soon as possible".
He assured me that there is no cause for alarm. He said that whoever attended the screening have the job; except the person was not physically fit, disabled or didn't have the necessary papers.
He said that approval has been given for the names to be released. But there are some issues on ground hindering its release.
TravelRe: Photos: The Beautiful African City Of Windhoek, Capital Of Namibia by zikkman:
When it comes to cities, there is a difference between beauty and development. Lagos is larger and more developed than Windhoek. Although, Windhoek is more beautiful than all the Nigerian cities. Nigerian cities lack basic aesthetics (beautification) and organisation.
Take a look at Abuja. We have exotic buildings, but the environment is disorganized, distorted and dirty. The walkways are either blocked or dug. Lagos is entirely another case of an urban jungle, despite the city transformation by Fashola.

PropertiesRe: Behold, The Controversial Most Expensive Building In Abuja by zikkman:
This first time I saw this building, I thought I was dreaming. Its owned by 'AA Oil'. It looks out of place in a harsh environment as Nigeria. And it seems no paint was used on the exterior. I learnt that every material was imported. Although, there are buildings like this in Africa. It is modelled after the US White House, but surely looks more sophisticated than the White House. Almost all the official residences in Britain, London streets and Europe, have the same style of Neoclassical Architecture. They were constructed more than 200 years ago. The man has done what the government can't do in Nigeria. We are moving! Naija for life!
