Please i really need someone to answer my question. I am worried about getting a positive assessment because my first degree differs from my profession. Studied public administration for first degree but I have been in journalism a little over 5 years now, the only work I have ever done is as a journalist. Are there any other journalists here please? Would really live a response. Thanks

She should assess the Masters as it gives the highest points. Use WES. Also try and read through the thread

Hello house, please I would like to make some inquiry and I would appreciate if I can get a reply cos I'm new to the thread. My sister is interested in the express entry prog. She's however confused about the assessment. She has a first degree from LAUTECH and a masters from UI. As you are all aware. LAUTECH has been shut down for a while now and she can't get her transcripts, is it OK if she has just her masters assessed and which assessment body is good for points.. WES or ICAS. thanks

Please I need your advice, I hold a first degree in public administration from covenant University and been working in a sector not.related to the degree... Journalism for a little over 5 years now.
Journalism is listed as short term skill, and 4 year degree from covenant University is considered an associate degree

I am 33 and from my calculations if I don't get 20 points with Ielts, I could only earn 50 points.

Please what are my chances, would appreciate some reply. Thanks
