tensazangetsu20:area that ranges between present day imo, enugu abia, ebonyi...i guess |
PrecisionFx:really so you want to change history.na wa o black men our wahala plenty. |
erico2k2:times has changed ... that was what i was trying to explain to tensazangetsu20 he wants us to revert to those days ... pre colonial era...when they were killing twins etc.... black man and backwardness...whites are futuristic, always looking forward thinking about traveling to Mars but blacks are always backward looking they swear for black man ![]() |
tensazangetsu20:At its height, Benin dominated trade along the entire coastline from the Western Niger Delta, through Lagos to modern-day Ghana. [5] It was for this reason that this coastline was named the Bight ofBenin .The present-day Republic ofBenin, formerly Dahomey, decidedto choosethe nameof this bight as the name of its country. Benin ruled over the tribes of the Niger Delta including the Western Igbo,Ijaw,Itshekiri, and Urhobo amongst others. It also held sway over the Eastern Yoruba tribes of Ondo, Ekiti, Mahin/Ugbo, and Ijebu. [6] It also established the first colony of Lagos hundreds of years before the British took source: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Benin |
tensazangetsu20:my friend we both have internet acess. that map was gotten from benin kingdom wiki page. What wiki clearly states as kingdom of benin , you are trying to twist to support your argument? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Benin |
tensazangetsu20:that map shows the Benin kingdom not the Benin Empire. .. below is the definition of an empire https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empire |
tensazangetsu20:i laugh in spanish. .. FYI the area known as lagos island was under the Benin Empire too... |
tensazangetsu20:you want us to exist as villages? cos that was what was then... or maybe empires... when the whole SE and SS was under the Benin Empire... the northern empire backed by foot soldiers from Mali, senegal and Northern africa trying to wipe out the SW |

classy but looks like golf karts. |
tensazangetsu20:theory is different from practicals... if we were to divide Nigeria along tribal and ethnic lines we would have close to 50 new countries.... why do you think the british almagamated Nigeria? they saw the fragility in individuality and more viability and strength in diversity? Ojukwu who clamored for secession of the then eastern region, you think he is a fool ? some account states that he felt had a negotiable instrument - oil and thereby was in a stronger position to dictate to the government at the center which was led by Gowon. Ojukwu felt he had more claim to being head of state than gowon coupled with killings of Igbos in the north. He declared biafra which was the eastern region under his command. this is a game of resources, personal ambition albeit selfishness which again leads to my earlier point... |
tensazangetsu20:welĺ that means in the case of Gabon you partially corroborated my point.... Gabon is a smaller country but still struggles because the family and cronies of the ruling present/past presidents view Gabon's commonwealth as their private property. my point is greed!!!! corruption!!!! self centeredness!!! is the bane of the black africa goverments. |
theoldpretender:i read several of your analysis... only if we had a million people like you, Nigeria would have become a better place.... |
poseidon12:i have a problem with comprehension but i have been able to go through the mass of hodge Podge watered down recycled theory based clichés you have labored in putting together which in itself portrays your mental laziness in not being able to think through and through the holes in your arguments ... You that have an excellent comprehension please quote in my previous posts where i argued against resource control or true federalism for that matter? your problem is you feel your views are fool proof but i have full proofs that proves that you running in the same circles and yet not realising it like an unimproved fool. firstly, you chattering about systems... what use are systems when results are determined more by the intrinsic quality of the people who run this system secondly, what system is there in the world that is without its own merits and demerits. But since you sir is a mr i too know, i leave you swimming in the pool of self deluge and arrogance. |
Movinwealth:i am sure if your wife gives birth this year you would list it as Buhari's goverment achievement. issoright kontinu |
Movinwealth:this is Nigeria where ordinary simple central banking policies are listed as achievements of the Head of state or president. i have nothing to say to you. click and read https://www.internationallawoffice.com/Newsletters/Banking/Nigeria/TRLPLAW/CBN-introduces-bank-verification-numbers |
poseidon12:Nigeria developed in the 60s ?i dont have nothing to say to you. click and read. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/06/return-regional-structure/ |
ogedengbeakogun:our problem is practicality... we have engineers that havent invented the most simple of implements that can better the common man's everyday life.... we have so many professors but little true professionals ... |
ogedengbeakogun:dont tell me you belong to this school of thought.... the self entitlement school of thought... the i am educated so i deserve to be rich even if i dont use my knowledge to create wealth school of thought.... the lazy Nigerian youth school of thought.... when you say yoruba people be specific...There are yoruba people all over the world...speak for yourself and yourself alone if seun didn't work to start Nairaland, i doubt if he would be financially well off than he is right now... |
ogedengbeakogun:please dont compare yourselves with white men.... sadly, we are way below the food chain... |
Tajbol4splend:dont be naive... if there is less self centeredness and greed , corruption then it will work but just look all over black africa... which country is doing well enough? another point is tribalism Rwanda has only two tribes and they wan kill themselves for there... most black men are primitive in their reasoning... they cannot reason beyond tribe... they cannot aspire for the greater good... just for themselves and their kindreds...even within tribes there are discrimination...within local government areas...within families...not to talk of a country... |
Tajbol4splend:it would turn chaotic...the reason this country is as it is is because of the love of money and greed... before oil came Nigerians coexisted in peace. .. as oil came greed came...people lusted after power...war came strife came sense of entitlement came or otherwise, why is the FG looking for oil in the chad basin? so that the north can also lay claim to being an oil producing region afterall that is why threat of secession came to be ...the hope of every secessionist agenda was built and centered on oil not any ideoligical principle...oil producing Cameroon and Gabon has the same presidents for how many years now ? Gabon's current president took over from his father in 2009 after his death. His father ruled for 42 years. Biya nko ruling since 1982 thats about 36 years...has the citizenry fared any better? thats the future of a Nigeria divided along tribal lines....worse off than the current status quo too much self centeredness and greed... |
Tajbol4splend:Military rule .... the military government mostly of nothern descent annexed the country's funds and developed their areas abandoning the south where the funds originated from.... more reason for the south to wise up and be sincere in making developmental plans to improve its region instead of embezzling - Ibori &co.... one of my grouse with GEJ while he was president was instead of focusing on a good developmental plan for the south south, he was busy building almajiri schools in the north and sharing the loot amongst the elites loyal to him.... |
Firefire:goodluck brought pvc and bvn? Most Nigerians are semi iliterates and it doesn't matter if you have a Bsc too...the level of knowledge is just so low... |
TMemos:lol you would be surprised at what guys can do. |
amaniro:stop deceiving yourself. Orji doesn't know you. There are only two tribes in Nigeria - the rich and the poor... poor people focus on your own lives and find better ways to improve it instead of wasting your time defending the wealthy and financially secured. |
i expected someone to blame Buhari for this... #lazynigerianyouths |
Sharpshooota:re read your comments.... oh my! if i insult you you stil wont get the point |
oluwaseyi000:gbam!!!!!! |
need a game engine.... where can i get xbox or ps4 at a fair price? |

so you want to change history.
. As for the biafran war, I am tired of hearing the same old stories over and over again. It's now boring. My forefathers were never present during the amalgamation. Before the white men came, weren't the ethnic nations existing?
