Okay this "hall due", do we pay to the porter, or to a bank account nd how much for queens hall please

After all payments nd updates on the portal had been done( as we were told to do). There were courses there, as a fresher, re we meant to do electives? Cos there was none there

you will get your receipt from the finance office of your faculty when school fully resumes...after that you can tear it :-D

As regards checking in into halls of residence, from my enquiries from some of the porters in the halls, it may not be too certain whether the checking in will start fully on Saturday. From their responses, one could easily deduce that the hall clearance and checking in is likely not to start fully until Monday, 23rd March, 2015.

Therefore, it is advisable that you wait till Monday before coming for your hall clearance, that is if you stay in a far away place to Ibadan. But if you stay nearby to school, you may check on Saturday to see the situation of things.

As regards me, I will keep you all informed if there is going to be any serious exercise on Saturday

Once again, you need the following for your hall clearance:

* ACCOMMODATION CONFIRMATION PAGE
* LETTERES OF REFEREE
* ACCOMMODATION RECEIPT
* PASSPORTS
* HALL DUE (VARIES ACCORDING TO HALL)

Who really will want to work on a Saturday? Can't risk it, especially when coming with load. Wah if the porter has a wedding? Abandon rice for the freshers?

I already paid with my Pin today and on the portal I was told that the payment was successful. I saw that a certain receipt is to be submitted for Hostel Clearance, Please which receipt is that and how do I get it??

I think we're to submit something to the finance office in return We wud get our receipt

About the PIN.....I thought the bank should have generated the pin for u....I don't know,maybe it's a new method.

Well they said if I don't receive anything on my mail or as a message, I should come back

I applied on Saturday nd got the confirmation on Sunday, guess I'm highly favoured, thank God.

So I just paid for accomodation nd extra 200 Naira was added. The bank will explain. Nd I was told that my pin well be sent to me from UI, but if nt, I should come back after 24 hours so I guess its still waiting tinz. Pls kindly pass me some coffee.

Please I actually joined nairaland just because of this thread, It's really helping me. Thanks guys
