The Enugu State Police Command on Friday warned fans of Liverpool and Real Madrid football clubs to be orderly irrespective of the outcome of the UEFA Champions League final in Kiev, Ukraine.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that large number of fans of the two clubs will be watching the European Champions League final live on Saturday at 7.45 pm in hundreds of viewing centres across Enugu State.

The Command’s spokesman, SP Ebere Amaraizu, told NAN in Enugu that residents should watch the match bearing in mind that “football is meant for peace and promotion of love’’.

“Do not allow your emotions to cause commotion.

“Football is a game primarily meant to promote peace, love and oneness among people.

“Residents should not turn around the noble objectives of the beautiful round leather game to the negative.


“We are urging all to watch the match and make new friends notwithstanding the outcome as surely one of the clubs must win,’’ he said.

According to him, police personnel will be stationed in the metropolis and its environs to nip any form of disturbance in the bud.

“The police patrol teams will ensure that distress calls are attended to,’’Amaraizu added.

The businessman gave the car out while thanking his staff for his dedication and commitment to duty.

The father of two, Mr Paschal Okechukwu, Head of O’Town Baller, took to his social media handle to display the new car while praising his boss and CEO for his magnanimity.

A call to the general public have been made online to identify a young lady who was found in the streets of Ogun state as he apparently suffer a memory loss.

An unidentified lady who reportedly lost her memory has been found at Ajuwon/Akute road in Ogun state.

According to Pastor Chidi Egwuh who met and took care of her, the lady who looks sane - has no idea of where she comes from due to memory loss.

Her pictures were posted on Facebook in a bid to locate her family or people who know her.

The pastor wrote; "Please this lady was found in Darusalem Ajuwon/akute road, just prayed for her, she lost her memory of where she comes from , please let's keep sharing to her family locates her."

A Nigerian man identified as Ayo Bamidele, has taken to his Twitter page (@iodigital_cable) to share a brief of his success story on the social networking platform.

The young man who lives in New Jersey, USA, revealed that his mother had to beat him after he revealed he was going to study Political science against her choice of Medicine or law.

He revealed that he just bagged a Bachelors Degree, a Masters Degree with distinctions, and he also got a full time offer with multi-national companies like Amazon and Microsoft.

Below is what he wrote; "Five years ago, I told my mom I was going to major in Political Science knowing she wanted medicine or law. She pulled over and gave me a quick two piece combo.

"Today I’ve got a Bachelors Degree, a Masters Degree with distinctions, and I accepted a full time offer with Microsoft. I also know she’s very proud. The person you are is like nobody else in the world, so don’t let ‘em tell you otherwise."

Unknown gunmen on Monday night, shot dead Okoringa Ebikimi, a Special Adviser (SA) to the Governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson.

It was learnt that the assailants broke into his residence at Kaiama, the Headquarters of Kolokuma/ Opokuma Local Government Area of the state, to commit the murder.

The incident occurred few minutes to midnight while he was taking fresh air outside his residence.

According to reports, attempt by the deceased to escape was unsuccessful as the gunmen shot him severally till he died.
