I know you hate Obi but some of us love him. But Obi is no longer the governor of the state, he handed over and even left to another party just to re-assure people that he is not ready to play any sort of godfatherism to anyone.

Learn to different this thread from the former governor Obi and focus on the new administration and way forward. Nobody talks about Obj today but Jonathan.

Yeah! I agree totally with you! I guess he thought this is the best time for him to get that election publicity and its working for him.
Although I think the response from Ngozi's media aide to the initial article was irresponsible but Soludo has got to tone down on Ngozi. This piece was very harsh. It is also very awkward considering both are igbo and Ngozi is a woman. He should rather focus on our man Peter cheesy
You see your life.
He should go slow on Iweala because she is Igbo and Focus on Obi because he is what? Hausahuh
Why do you hate Obi this much?

truth is bitter. The way way you can shut him up is to provide contrary facts. People are now beginning to make enquiries about Peter Obi's tenure because of the article. I can provide some tweets if you want
I just finished reading that Soludo's recent release on premium times. He sounded pained because NOI labelled his tenure at CBN as the worst. To proof her wrong he said that a leader's public service is rated based on 3 things. One of which is what the people think about the leaders tenure. He went further to quote statements by OBJ and the late Yar' adua which were in praise in of his tenure at CBN. Now in the case Obi, you and I know that morethan 60% of Anambra people praised obi and are still praising him. Even soludo himself sang obi's praise when he was campaigning. I m a critic of Obi too, but i cant say his tenure was a disaster in Anambra. Soludo should focus on facts and stop personal attacks. He is too learned for this abeg.

This guy has gone far beyond what every day Nigerian governors does. Nigerian governors should come and under-study this dude..
Why must Obiano plaster his picture on all of his projects in Anambra? Its not cool at all. Even roads undergoing minor refilling of potholes normally have a small sign post with the inscription "willy is working" on them. Its embarrassing if you ask me.

I m sorry to say this. But Soludo is fast becoming a fool. He can't overturn what Obi had done to him . While Soludo keeps whining in the press, Obi keeps winning him on ground. He should just shut it and stop disturbing us with his noise. I supported Soludo in 2013 to become Anambra gov but since he was defeated like a kid he should go back and work on himself.

Building modern hospital structures is one thing i pray takes root in Nigeria.
Dr.Nnamdi Azikiwe, Dr.Michael Opara all built bungalow hospitals in those days because there was scarcely any money and many many projects had to be built in the newly independent country. Currently, my heart bleeds each time i see politicians in this present day, building mushroom structures as hospitals or universities simply because in 1960, the first buildings were bungalow structures.

Even "poor" African countries such as Namibia with tiny national budget comparable to an average Nigerian state budget, now build modern hospitals or university buildings such as the example in the picture.
Namibia poor? Don't say that again o. If not because of the black man's corruption mentality, Namibia should be among the most comfortable countries to live in worldwide. Their income per capita is high even morethan some European countries. Though the wealth of the country is controlled by a greedy few while majority live in poverty. The population of the country is very small, even smaller than Anambra state but they have a lot of wealth from natural resources like Diamond or so.

I don't think the Anambra thing is necessary. If you must know, the Okoye children were born and brought up in Jos. If any state should take credit for who the children have become then its plateau state. But that is not necessary too. I m from Anambra btw so don't get it twisted.

This guy, your dislike for obi no get part two.
About prof's write up, i must commend soludo for being neutral ( if he actually is). His analysis of Gej's economic policies is something that should be taken very seriously. It would make sense if the Nigeria Electoral Debate group make use of some of the salient points raised by the prof as basis for the forthcoming presidential debate.
About Peter obi, i dont entirely blame the prof for seizing this opportunity to take a jab at the man who disgraced him politically. But wasn't Soludo the same person that sang Obi's praise before the primaries in 2013? Soludo needs to be careful when saying certain things. He shouldn't drag Anambra's name to the mud simply because he wanna make his point.

Trust me, I will be as detailed as ever. What actually took me so much time this evening was looking at several types of money making properties in Anambra State. We all know how fast the return on investment is for blocks of flats in Onitsha, Ogidi and Obosi axis. This is to be expected as the huge markets in and around Onitsha continues to boom. People will have to live somewhere to control all that level of commerce.
What I was studying today was the hostel business in Awka town. I went round and took notes of some buildings for students accommodation, and the prospects. Many students are still looking for accommodation and the average price per room here is N100k for a self contained room, which is usually shared by two students. A case in point is Prince and Princess hostels exactly opposite the main gate of Unizik permanent site in Awka. (130,000) I also saw another hostel at Amansea Awka.
But we need to find out if the school authority are planning to build a school hostel to house all the students. This happened in Esut Agbani, knocking many landlords off balance after they had invested millions in building school hostels near the university.

More about this later.
Owning an off campus hostel in Ifite Awka is one investment i would advice anybody that have the cash to do. This is because the cost of renting a room goes up everyday. There is this new hostel around Amsterdam area in ifite that goes for morethan 150k per self contained room. The funny thing is that even with lots of accomodation scattered everywhere, students are still looking for more.
And i cant see Unizik building enough hostels inside the school in the near future. They v got more important projects to embark on.
Good work Spider. keep it up

That's the more reason we need tough guys in the Senate. An I.diot (sorry to use that) like Sen. Ayogu Eze stood up to oppose that bill. Does he know the population of Nsukka and indeed Enugu people who has made Anambra State their permanent residence from Nkwo Nnewi to O'sha main mkt even to our village markets is overtaken by a swarm of Enugu indigenes easily identified by their Language.
Till this moment nobody slapped sense into the Ayogu Eze.
See Federal representation should be for the tough guys who gets their way around bills either by coercion or by intimidation. It shouldn't be for the faint hearted. My opinion though
Exactly. That is why i like some of those northern senators like the late Kanti Bello. People that force you to listen to them even just by the sound of their voice are the type we need to represent us in the senate. Folks like Ngige, Annie Okonkwo, Mrs Okadigbo and their likes shouldn't be allowed to rep us again.
And more importantly, our three senators should be united in purpose even if they are from different political parties.
