rafindo: this shows us the kind of spirit we have as a people. we don't have passion for things that bind us together. we believe so much in things others have laboured to build for themselves. this have made so much investment owned by the former eastern region to be in despicable state; nigercem ,avop and so many industries owned collectively by the Easterners speak a huge volume about us.the mantra no work for the youth is very annoying when the same youth watches EPL matches, buys EPL clubs sovernirs and jersey and critrise those club and managers who according to their mindset are not doing their bidding.the energy used in arguing or fighting for a club in Europe would have been able to make a little change in our system. no need for that are the anthem the perfectionist, sceptics, critics and others use in portraying how bad are our system is.this support for Europe teams have been able to give millions of their youth employed ranging from cleaners, stewards,PR crews, journalist and players.a popular sociologist have this notion that football is now a religion with mass followership, fanatics, terrorists and club goers.this trend is found in fans having passion for their community, town and regional teams over a foreign ones.a good example is a Catalan or basque man affection first to Barcelona or espanyol and athletic Bilbao. Mancunian loyalty lies first to any of the Manchester club first before Chelsea.I hope when we say Chelsea for life, when death comes I hope your burial will be in Stanford bridge not nnewi. nnewi have the ability to form a club among football lovers in order to showcase to the world what nnewi stands for, I will be more happy having anaedo united vs iu united playing the FA cup final in 2017 than barca winning the uefa champions league.youth should make this a dream.
well Africans don't worship the God of their ancestor but find solace in foreign God packaged by the white.we need to start packaging the little we have before self belief erode our mindset. Wow! The management of our local football league needs serious improvement before the kind of follower ship you are advocating can become feasible. A lot needs to be done. You shouldn't expect Nigerians to pay and watch boring matches under the sun in the name of patriotism. |

uduokirika1: AFTER THE DRAWS BY LMC HELD IN ABUJA YESTERDAY GABROS F.C (I.U UNITED) WILL KICK START THIS SEASON WITH THEIR FIRST MATCH FROM HOME (BEVERLY HILLS) AGAINST WARRI WOLVES FC WHO ARE CURRENTLY ONE OF THE FOUR NIGERIAN CLUBS PLAYING AT THE CONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
HOWEVER, HOPES ARE HIGH ESPECIALLY FROM THE NNEWI FANS WHO FOR 10 YEARS HAD DREAMT OF THIS DAY COME TO PASS. LITTLE WONDER THE POMP AND PAGEANTRY THAT OVERWHELMED THE INDUSTRIAL CITY AS THEY BASK IN THE EUPHORIA OF EXPERIENCING WITH NOSTALGIC FEELINGS ONCE AGAIN THOSE GLORY DAYS WHEN THE ANAEDO BOYS WHERE FORCES TO RECON WITH IN THE NIGERIA'S ELITE CLUB DIVISION; THE DAYS OF AUSTIN EJIDE, SOLOMON OKORONKWO, TAYE TAIWO, DANIEL AKPEYI EVEN THE LEGENDARY JOETEX ASAMOAH FRIMPONG OF GHANA.
THIS GREAT COME BACK TO THE ELITE DIVISION HAD BROUGHT ABOUT A KIND OF POSITIVE IDEOLOGY AMONGST THE NNEWI BILLIONAIRES WHO HAVE VOWED NEVER TO ALLOW THE CLUB SMELL RELEGATION AGAIN AS SUCH PREPARATIONS FOR THE UP COMING SEASON HAVE BEEN TOP NOTCH. THE LIKES OF IFEANYI UBA (WHO TODAY HOLDS THE HIGHEST STAKE IN THE CLUB), GABRIEL CHUKWUMA, CLETUS IBETO, INNOSON CHUKWUMA, CHIKASSON OKOYE, CUTIX CABLES AND OTHERS HAVE ALL COME OUT IN SOLIDARITY FOR THE CLUB TO MAKE A GREAT IMPACT THIS SEASON.
GABROS FC REMAINS THE ONLY CLUB IN NIGERIA WITH THREE DIFFERENT SPONSORS FOR BOTH HOME(INNOSSON GROUP), AWAY(CAPITAL OIL) AND TRAINING(IBETO GROUP) KITS IN THE NIGERIAN LEAGUE TODAY.
THE REST IS FOR US TO CONTRIBUTE OUR LITTLE QUOTA BY SUPPORTING OUR OWN BY AVAILING OURSELVES THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE AT THE STADIUM EACH HOME GAME TO CHEER OUR DARLING ANAMBRA TEAM TO SUCCESS. THE SECRET OF SUCCESSES IN OUR LEAGUE TODAY LIES IN THE NUMBER OF FANS YOU CAN MUSTER (ENYIMBA & KANO PILLARS ARE MY WITNESSES)
UDO DI RU NU UMUNNEM!! ANAMBRA ADIBA GO NMA!!!
Major sponsors Logo Nice. The management of the club should make plans to have a better pitch for the club. The current pitch at Beverly hills hotel is not befitting. As at 2013 when i visited there, what i saw was just an ordinary football field and not a stadium. Since the club have gained promotion, it's expected that more people will come to watch their home games but the ground i saw cannot sit even a thousand fans. |

uduokirika1: Gabros FC returns from Europe tour
A MEMBER of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Elections Appeals Committee, Victor Nwangwu, has commended Gabros International FC over the team’s successful tour of Europe, saying the newly promoted Nigeria Premier League side boosted the country’s image.
The former secretary of Anambra State football Association noted that the club portrayed the country in bright light after taking 16 players and three officials on a playing tour of Europe with all of them returning home without anyone absconding.
“It shows all hopes are not entirely lost for Nigeria football despite Super Eagles not qualifying for the 2015 Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea”, the former Enugu Rangers ace said.
“This is a big boost to Nigeria’s image abroad. It shows integrity, professionalism and corporate image not only for the club but also the country”, Nwangwu stressed.
He urged other football clubs in the country to borrow a leaf from Gabros FC on issues bothering on professional ethics and integrity in an effort to move the nation forward and restore the country’s image in the world.
Gabros played four matches in Europe and won all, with striker Michael Ohanu scoring seven goals in the four matches, just as Emeka Isaac scored six in the four games with the duo emerging as the toast of European clubs.

http://gabrosfc.naijarisingartists.com/gallery-4-columns/#prettyPhoto Sweet. Good news! Was wandering when a football club from Anambra will compete at the elite division again. Thank God Anaedo boys are back. Mistakes of the past shouldn't be repeated. What of Anambra united? are they still existing? Anambra should have nothing less than 3 good football clubs. One each for Onitsha, Awka and Nnewi. Though sponsoring the clubs would be a burden for the state govt, private investors should be encouraged to come in. |

OreMI22: In addition to building structures for classrooms and departments, I hope the school gives a specific, solid modern hostel plan & land in specific parts of the University for private investors to build specific types of students' hostels and maintain them.
This will be a win-win situation as the University will have the types of hostel structures it desires & even collect a little property tax to boost their revenue, the students can be housed on-campus & save on transportation being housed on campus and the private investors can collect accommodation fees (rent) from their building investment inside the university. That is already on board. The Gigantic Elmadar hostel in the school campus was built by a private investor few years ago. I don't think Arysexy covered it in his posts. |
