There you are wrong rap is all about freestyle if you can't freestyle anytime anyday then you ain't no rapper.
You gonna rap other people's lyrics and flows or spend weeks arranging rhyme schemes and pattern like MI before you can rap a verse.

M.i can freestyle too though.
Rappers are rated not just on their freestyle, but the quality of their body of works, delivery, wordplay, bars.. Etc
Jay-z is not rated highly because of any freestyle but mostly his body of work and how he changed the rap game when he emerged.
No one gives a shit about freestyle though.

For a long while i have fallen in love with rap music and i have paid attention to more of foreign rap songs for like some 3-4ears ago. Well, because of the fact that i got tired of lines like 'I fly so high they mistook me for a witch' and 'my wings are fallen off i definitely can not make a wish'. Those were some of my lines in the days of '2go battle room' so I expected every rapper to have passed this stage and to have outgrown musical dumbness. We don't have to stay whack and that is the only thing Nigerians rapper know how to do. I am actually not a rapper nor a musician, i am a Biochemist but trust me i know an 'average little' about music and basically rap.
Well, this urge for meaningful rap lines led me to MI Abaga ( and some other average guys like Mode9, Ruggedman, Jesse Jagz, Eva, Phenom, Yung6ix, Falz with some i do not have to rack my brain remembering due to there unworthiness ) and MI is really doing well, he has good songs, good lines, good bars, good word plays, good punchlines than most African rappers. Yeah!!! You read me right 'Most African Rappers'.

So I subscribed to their tweets back in the days and immediately they dropped any single and shared it on twitter then i was always i click away to download it. I downloaded every single from MI,Vector, Eva, Erigga, Phyno,Phenom and many others. I listened to them all until my ardent love for rap went foreign. What this means is i have heard enough to judge.

Now let us face The Viper and The Chairman.
The Purge was not the beginning of this diss, it has been since the days of Safe and also Kilode then to the recent 'You rapper should fix your lives' and on and on.


Now this an obvious and undisputable fact, MI is better than Vector in all ramifications so this judgment is based on these three tracks;

THE PURGE
This track is an obvious mess, we were all expecting a huge nail on MI considering the fact that Vector had all the time in this world to buckle real hard and then again he was about to diss The Chairman and the best African rapper. He was supposed to nail the track hard and murder MI but it was a massive flop.
Just like when Kelly Machine Gun dropped his 'rap devil', most of the people i related with appreciated his effort and the whole thing was worth it. He just attacked a big dog, the rap gOD himself and he did it really hard. When i downloaded eminem's Killshot?? It seriously was'nt as dope as 'rap devil' (You may think otherwise). We all know Eminem will naturally kill anyone with flows but his only avenue to have won over Kelly Machine gun was his popularity and his huge fan base.
We expected same of Vector and he ended up bringing toddlers into 'men war'. The guy who took the second verse tried though(Payper), just that it looked as if he only picked some lines from his previously written bars and then added some relatable words.
For some few seconds i wasn't sure if he was in for the purge or he was just nailing a random cypher. Anyways, he tried much better than others, Vector inclusive.

I will give The Purge a rating of 3/10.


THE VIPER
The Chairman came through and he definitely didn't disappoint. He was so mature and he nailed everything, in fact he nailed any possible diss tracks to come (Or so we thought). MI rubbished Vector with his claims about AQ, his Baby Mama, his failure to help any one, his journey to his Lounge, his far behind ratings in list of Yoruba top notches, how bittered he felt because he couldn't get a feature(Talking about when MI declined his King kong feature), how his relationship with his formal label ended in shambles blaming Vector for the rift and he made Vector look like he has been the one always harbouring enmity and hatred towards him. Wait what could be worse? MI has really murdered Vector and he also seems to have treated every possible brawl and he didn't leave anything untouched. No wonder he made it known he wouldn't grace him with a response. Who would even stress himself dissing again when you just insulted someone from while he was a mere sperm cell and while he was in his Dad's scrotum?? That was a wicked one. I have never really witnessed such merciless shots before. Please respect the scrotum of Vector's Pop.

I will rate THE VIPER 6/10


JUDAS THE RAT
So this track came out today and trust me it was fire.
Have you people watched 'BODIED'?A movie produced by Eminem and some other guys. In one of the scenes, Behn Grymm ( Jackie Long) went personal on Adam Merkin (Calum Worthy) , and Adam didn't hesitate killing him with the shots he initiated. That is one good thing about rap. Use what they created against them and kill them with it. MI went personal on Vector he made sure he schooled him on this and Vector really learnt well and ended up digging out all MI's dirts and used them against him.

Heavy weighted words

1) Jesse Jagz- Vector apologised to this guy before hitting him hard. Well some people said Jesse might come up with a lash out but i doubt that will ever happen. Jesse is fire we all know but Jude has somehow killed him. How? He had nothing to show for his stay in CC and when he created Jagz nation he won LYRICIST ON THE ROLL at the headies and ever since he joined CC back in 2015 nothing has been heard of him. Sorry.

Vector really specialised on this, and some thought it's wrong. Nah it isn't wrong. Listen to Rick Ross-Idols become Rivals. He shot Birdman against his own god son (Lil Wayne) and Lil Wayne even showed his support on twitter for Rikky. What could be worse? After all Vector only stated the obvious and MI started it all by bringing Vector's cousin into the fight (AQ). Vector really made it obvious that MI isn't helping anyone but rather using them since he is the only artist surviving in his label.


2) MI's sexuality.
Vector's rap his sometimes too deep to dig but I swear he just labelled him 'GAY'. How?
Vector slurred MI on how his babe broke up with him, ''He said Mi was the bitch in the relationship, the stories were right'' Just before he talked about this he already made claims that ''MI advertised his ass a lot. You go to Abuja a lot to make money'' Meaning he goes to abuja to advertise his ass. Common.... that was a big one. Our chairman his gay? That was harsh.


3) He slurred MI and Ambode. MI campaigned for Ambode whilst he was vying for his gubernatorial seat. He said ''Eni Dale Lo Bale Lo" M.bode is living with vision scape, o ye ko bale lo''. I swear this got me hard. He just called MI a dirt (Vision scape) which Amode was living with. That was deep.


Don't forget this line too ''the least you could have done was leading lending a voice. But you dey lagos campaigning shining teeth for any invoice''

There Are many words that could leave you wondering if Vector isn't a beast that is being low rated.

Vector really killed this track and he was a bit defensive which many people faulted. But I think it is cool that way. He treated all the dusts Mi raised and he made issues clear and also threw Mi off his feet by his new claims.
MI sure needs to clear the air on
1) why he is ready to drop 20M FOR vector while is brother is dying financially.
2) Why he is the only one doing well in his label.
3) If he is really the CEO of Choc city.
4) if truly Vector helped in building AQ and Blaqbones.
5) Does he try to feed off his artists?

Anyways, either MI replies or not the evil has been done.

I personally will rate this track 8/10.

Don't compare Mi to vector,
Vector freestyled for 2hr 30 mins non stop on life radio, he holds the record for longest freestyle in Africa.

Mi couldn't freestyle for 3minutes without chocking on Tim Westwood, ice prince still chocked rapping from his phone. It's was Jago covering up their asses.
Mi may be more famous but he can't rap, he only memorizes pre arranged rhymes and drops them well.

rap isn't all about free styling
His freestyles are even wack sef.. Gosh!

Bt have always been a huge fan of hiphop, i grew up watching 2pac, biggie, dre, snop, xzibit, missy eliot, bone thugs, pdiddy, ice cube and all the other contemporary hiphop artist, Nas, talibqualib(am not sure i got d spelling right). And what i can say about MI vs Vector is that every rap battle is about attacking ur opponents

All vector did was "comedy" an attack on MI's height, i mean if u listen to his two diss track, his entire reference and punchline was just on MI's height, pls if vector fans disagree then pls give me another punchline in vectors track i didnt hear or i missed.
