but the lost passport has closed expiration period. so I opt for 10years extension. will the new passport reflect this extended 10years I opt for in my application?

When a lost passport is replaced, it will come with a different number and expiration period to any held by you previously.

You do not need a guarantor and state of origin certificate for lost passport.
The requirements for lost Nigerian passport are below:

(1) Copy of lost passport data page showing passport number and date of issue / or passport number.

(2) Original copy of police report on the loss of passport (passport number indicated on the report).

(3) Formal written application requesting for replacement of lost passport should be addressed to: C.G.I Abuja.

(4) Affidavit from a Magistrate Court or High Court of lost passport deposed by you and your passport photo attached.

(5) Acknowledgement slip and evidence of payment.
