bro if i am to spend money on transport actually i will spend 250 bt i trek for 30 minute to termimus in the morning and also trek back home again in the evening house rent is 70k bt 3 of us live together to make it easy ... Sch fees is nw ove 30k.... I have to survive on my own throughout last session the money sent to me frm home is nt even upto 10k and i still survive i knw i will still survive this too

If govt can release over 250k as subsidy per student why can't the students cough out 60-70k on their own part to get education?
Lots of graduates are just going to school to get certificate and don't pay emphasis on the skill it affords them to acquire.
If you value the education you would even do manual labour to save N200k as buffer to help see you through school and enjoy millions in subsidy.

Out of the 2 month holiday one month is almost over before i could get something to do and at the end of the day i realized less than 40k still yet i spend part of it as upkeep during the holiday the money on my acct now is less than 25k and my rent will be due by january ending, i will be spending 100 naira everyday as transport (will still have to trek a long distance)... I woke up to check my portal and meet 23k as tuition plus faculty charges and minor charges its over 30k now tell me how you want me to cope? I have left where i am working so its too late to go back...i wouldn't mind if you help out though. .... There are many self sponsoring students who even find it difficult to pay the former fee now how do you expect them to pay with this?

hello sir i am a student of unilorin my problem is that our result doesnt reflect our cpga but i went to my level adviser who gave me my spreadsheet that reflects my cpga but when i got to the Hod to sign it the man said it is nt for any official use... I am thinking should i use the one on my portal like that since there is a space to input the cpga

I remember traveling from Benin to Ilorin on the 9th of February early this year, we had to pass through offa. The moment we entered Kwara State both soldiers, police and mobile Police men at each checking point were just collecting 100 hundred naira.
The Nigerian security apparatus is a shame to the globe at large.
If you are a soldier or police man and you have ever collected 100 naira at any checking point in kwara State or molested innocent commuters or students may you never find peace. You have neglected your main duty and corrupted the system, may all those money you have collected be your doom. you have failed your colleagues and the innocent civilians murdered by those thieves

that's exactly my point the checking points are useless they aren't checking anything they just stay there to collect #100 from motorists and molest students

i remember sometimes last year i was traveling from Ilorin and there was heavy down pour which led to heavy traffic between Offa Garage and Ganmo we were in that traffic for ovrr 2 hours the police men could not clear it and some Navy guys were going to their base in Offa that day they came down and clear that road under 15 minutes why can't they say its not their job and sit down watching

Police Recruitments is more of job creation than security.
The kind of Police personnel we have today are the by-products of; Godfatherism, Politicisation, ' undeserved recruits', etc. Add Poor Welfare Scheme to the mix and tell us the result.
Every Police man is left to fend for himself and his family and they do it thru any means necessary...
