She wasn't compel to do it. She did out of free will, that's the difference. Some pastors will even tell you you will go to hell for not paying tithe to them. That's the difference my brother, God doesn't operate that way. Believe me, those man are in business of making money and can do anything If you try to stop their source of income. Again the money contributed then in church was used to take care of the poor and levite who have neither lands and properties but today reverse is the case. They use your money to build schools you cant afford. in my church(Roman Catholic Mission) nobody compels you to offer a dime. I haven't gone to any pastor since my whole life |

Jesus and his disciples took the gospel to many places before they died, did they demand money from people then? So why now. Why is money now so important in preaching the word. the woman that that donated all she has in one coin that Jesus said we should emulate... What do you have to say about that? |

Politics › Re: Igbo Brothers let us decide, What do we Really Want? by ZZ22: 10:09am On Jun 30, 2017 |
Princesaha: The Op has said it all, no more no less. I am from Nnewi in Anambra state and a proud Ipob member. The truth remaineth that the November election will be boycotted. When we set on this journey of actualising Biafra, we all know that it will come with a price and we are ready to do that for our voices to be heard. Just sit down and ask your self one question, If Ipob at the end of the day fails, we Igbos will suffer for it for the next hundred years to come but it will never happen, God forbid!!! The major problem of some of our people is that they fails to see what is at stake here. This struggles of ours is in different phases and we have passed the stage of matching all the streets singing songs and waving flags. Now is the time for civil disobedience and we must do it unless we are not serious on what we are agitating for. Do you think matching, and blocking roads in the East here for the next 5000 years will make those criminal leaders in Abuja bend to our request? We need to force them to have a change of mind whether they do it willingly or not. For those of our brothers that will tell you that they support Biafra but want us to remain in one stage for centuries should have a change of mind. As for those cloning accounts and claiming what they are not here trying to cause division among brothers by telling Nnamdi Kanu to start with Abia state first should bear it in mind that they are already late. Sometimes I read several things and I laughed. If these people know what Ipob is made of and the zeal and determination behind it, they would not be wasting their time here though I noticed that most of them are jobless. I am hundred percent that if this election is to hold in Abia or any other state, NK that I know will still give the same order. Finally, Ipob means business. No referendum, no election. So many things will happen from now till November that will make those that even wanna vote boycott that election. Just watch out and see. God willing, we all will be here by November to see how it goes. Udo diri unu umunne m nji eme onu. Ka emesia nu. Chukwu gozie gi nwanne m |

Politics › Re: Baseless Lies About Property In Igboland by ZZ22: 8:51am On Jun 22, 2017 |
Malawian: Just opposite one of my dads house in Nkpor is a shop owned by a Yoruba man, i met him in 1998 after we finished boarding school and decided to stay small in the east before returning to lagos. I dont know how long he had been there before then, but even till today, he is still there. He has since married an Igbo woman and they are raising Children in that place. He can speak igbo like anyone in the area and is competing with the locals around there, seeling provisions and all.
Heck, my Aunty even leaves her keys with him cos my aunty stays in the flat we reserved in that building in case any of us were to come home unexpectedly.
This yoruba guy is an exception to the rule, normal yoruba are scared of leaving their homes to distant lands, even leaving their daddy's house to rent somewhere in the same area is difficult for them, you see 3-4 generations of the same family clobbered together in a small living quarters all the time here.
The yoruba guy i mentioned, it was not oil work that brought him to the east, neither was it artisan work. He sells provisions like more than 5 shops do in the same small street, yet he is thriving. thats the spirit bro. Anybody that will survive can survive anywhere it doesnt matter if your Igbo, hausa or yoruba. The battle for survival is not for the lilly livered but for people who have strong determination to do so. At the the back of Tunde's shop is another yoruba guy a very good tailor. He has two shop and has brought all his brothers along because many people bring clothes to him and they always have loads of work to do. Had it been he is not determined to succeed in onitsha he woulda refuse to pay for the shop and end up here saying Igbos dont sell/rent to others. Igbos are successful many places you find them today because they are determined to succeed wherever they find themselves. |
Politics › Re: Baseless Lies About Property In Igboland by ZZ22: 12:00am On Jun 22, 2017 |
Lazy people always find reason to justify their laziness. I know of Tunde a yoruba barber along Miss Elems axis in Fegge, the guy is very good at what he does and has attracted himself many customers. Had it been at the onset during the bargain for the shop he is using now that the owner told him what to pay and he refused and someone else pay same amount for that same shop he would have joined the bandwagon of yoruba boys here saying Igbos dont sell/rent to others. |

She is beautiful and everything was going fine till she started complaining that my guy calls her on phone not just once but multiple times per day. I met my guy and jokingly asked him what's up? why such backstabbing? he denied and out of annoyance he called the girl in front of me and asked her what she told me about him, the girl seriously denied ever telling me such. I was stunned and I'm not the type that has time for drama, i closed her chapter immediately. She came back telling me she was so sorry that she only wanted me to be very serious about the relationship, i told her to go and kick rocks. |
