I went to buy N3 yesterday but on getting there D3 was recommended for me cos it was the latest nd I purchased the D3, am regretting buying the D3 cos it doesn't have 3G

For those saying that it doesn't have 3G,have you tried switching to 3G from the network settings? And ensure your sim is in the SIM 1 slot because that's the slot that is 3G-enabled. Slot 2 is 2G only. It would be strange/unlikely that it doesn't have 3G capabilities when previous version are 3G capable.Also,it indicates on the box that it is 3G capable and I doubt a growing company like Tecno would want to damage their brand with such a blatant lie. Thinking of picking one up soon for 15k,phone looks good,solid enough for the price.

Hi people, i must say that the tecno d3 is indeed a powerful device no doubt about that. Having said that, can someone please help me confirm if it has «GPS RECEIVER»....?

So I went investigating today and can categorically say that the D3 does NOT have 3G. I misread the box. Only 2G and cost 12,500 or 13k.I would advise waiting for the N7 which an authorized dealer tells me is out in a month and costs 25k

What‘s d point using an android phone without 3g?

Pals, I really wish to buy this wonderful but cheap Tecno D3, but one said it doesn`t seems to have a 3G. when I met a friend he said it do have a HSUPA, which I know to be a 3.75G, even better than the normal 3G. pls someone will confirm whether or not it has the HSUPA or WMCPA. Thanks in advance...

It doesn't have HSUPA. Just GSM 900/1200

Don‘t you know Android phone zaps data? Chei!
I suggest you disable the picture of your browser (that‘s if you are using browser like opera, ucweb e.t.c). It will reduce your data consumption. I hope this helps sha.

It doesn't have 3G. Even the sellers tell you that. It doesn't have HSPDA or 3G. In simple terms it is like a curve in terms of network access and mobile internet capabilities

Hello everyone, my candid advice to you all donot buy D3; i bought one last week and hated ever doing so coz it lacks 3g, it takes 4hrs to have a full battery, the battery drains in less than 5hrs, and it gets excessively hot at the bottom rear, the camera flash is relatively useless, you can neither change its ringtone nor its message tone, its speaker for receiving calls is virtually mute coz u have to press the phone onto your ear firmly to get what d caller is saying and last bt not d least its pretty heavier than n3...

Plz buy either n3 or wait for their most anticipated up coming n7
