Hi,saw ur other post on d construction of ur own hosp.Am in d same path of tryin to own my own set-up somewhere in lag.But where I nid ur help bc am a novice is in this:how do I get my hosp registered,must I get d name registered first @d CAC? I actually want to register d name @ d CAC first,but was told by d person doing it that d new rule is that all professional bizs must b registered as limited coys wt N1m @cost of 65k.So pls hep me wt steps on how I can register d hosp. The problem is from nma. nma politics is killing doctors. nma and mdcn should have policies on coordinating care between private and public hospitals. |

I guess u must have worked in several private hospitals b4 cos u nid to understand not just medicine but also d business of private practise. I didnt register with CAC until one year after setting up d business. The most important registeration is with HEFAMMA at alausa first. Once u get a b place to set up, u will write a letter to d commissioner of health that u need permission to set up at so so place and the processing will start after d permission is granted. Feel free to asl more questions. U dnt need more than business registeration for a start and it cost about 10k plus as at 2011 when i did mine to set |

Most doctors in private set up are more loyal to AGPMPN than NMA and most doctors in govy hospital are using the power of number to control NMA. So the harmony is not easy to achieve even though agpmpn is also under NMA. I think we should rotate the presidency of NMA btwn govt and private doctors 1 Like 1 Share |

May your all dreams comes true. I believe Nigeria needs doctors like you who come up with such plans in Nigeria. I have been to Nigeria and was quite disappointed while looking at the health care system. I saw a lot of patients in the cue but could not see that feelings handle with care. I have seen some of the private clinics but they were not up to the mark. I feel now is the time where doctors like you should meet and come up with Multi specialty hospital then just one specialty. I know some doctors or business men who wants to come up with diagnostics center in Nigeria. If you all meet up and come up with proper diagnostics center that will definitely help the people there. @all. Really appreciate ur contributions. In my generation, people will come for medical tourism in nigeria but the revolution will be done by private practitioners cos our politicians are addicted to oyinbo doctors. It may look like pipe dream now but it will happen. Nollywood is making fame worldwide, dbanj and co are now in d same studio with kanye and one day we will be in the same theatre with d best surgeons in the world right on our soil without bringing any equipment from outside. I am interested in an all inclusive gym where people can lose weight while attending to their medical problems like hypertension, diabetes, atherosclerosis and heart related diseases. We counsel patient to lose weight without giving them a clue on how to do it. So i want to set up Medical gym centre with consultant cardiologist, nutritionist,,physical therapist a |

Please i am an anatomist, graduated from unilorin, currrently at the final stage of my masters program in Anatomy. I need a place where i can learn how to use x-ray machine, CT scan MRI, ECG etc. i believe my knowledge in human structure, functions and radiographic anatomy will make me learn fast. Please i really want to learn this, any advice where this can be done, please let me know. i have not being able to get any medical diagnostic centre where i stay. anywhere in lagos, Ibadan or ilorin will be ok. @fame12k,they run that programme in LUTH some years back.i don't know if its still done there sha.Try to learn it at a place where d certificate issued can b used to practise nt just at a diagnostic centre.esp if u will b practising n lagos.u fit ask google too.goodluck! |
