Why can't we purchase more irrespective of the validity period, moreover etisalat is offering similar thing- you can call,text and browse on all plans ranging from N300 to N1,000. Mtn why is yours totally different? |

From what I understand, Mtn's goody bag is different from etisalat's offering. But you have to have your yardsticks to be able to say this one or the other is better. What are your yardsticks? |

The Goody bag is a trash! If with my supersaver I make mtn-mtn cals at N6/min, 30min call will cost me N180 + 30sms @ N4/page cost me N300! So where is the goody there? |

So where is the goody there?ur calculation is correct Bt nt entirely correct. u forgot The N25 for first min of The day. if u minus d N25 frm N6 u av N19 extra charge. then u spread d N19 for d 7days validity period of d Goody Bag it will be giving u N133. am sure u can now see d Goody Bag? .Mind u dt d concept is to save credit for low callers unlike those that can finish d entire 30 mins in two or three days wherein ur calculation is much applicable. |

I think your calculation is based on Goody Bag 1 only. I use Goody Bag 3 which costs N750 and comes with 150 mins for calls & 200 SMS. So on Goody Bag 3, by your calculation, 150 mins=N900 + 200 sms =N800 will amount to a total value of N1700 valid for 30days. Goody Bag 3 has proven valuable to me. bennito: Another thing to factor into the equation is that Goody Bags are for MTN to MTN calls and SMS only. |

Are there people using these Goody Bags in here? Or am I the only one that finds them interesting? Please, for those using any of the Goody Bags, have you found a way to cancel your current subscription after exhausting your minutes and sms so as to subscribe afresh? When I called MTN customer care, I was asked to send CANCEL as an SMS to 131. But, since I haven't exhausted my minutes and sms since then, I haven't been able to try it. |

The MTN Goody Bags are no longer available. But the Good News is:- You can get the Enhanced Goody Bag bundle by sending either GB750 or GB1000 to 131 at a cost of N750 or N1000 respectively. In return, you will receive N750 or N1000, as the case may be for calling all GSM networks in Naija, at 10k/sec. You will also receive a bonus N1,200 or N1,600(for the N1,000) for calling MTN numbers only at 40k/sec. The validity of the bonus is 7 days(for N750) and 14 days(for N1,000). Latest update on MTN Enhanced Goody Bag:- A number of people who have data plans active at the same time that they have an active Enhanced Goody Bag have complained of charges to their Goody Bag account when they go on the internet.
