Over 10,000 employees were surveyed. wen First Bank alone has over 12,000 employees. should we just say the number of response gotten is not enough to determine the rankin. I'm sure the total number of employees of the 100 companies wll be over 250,000. so how can feedback from just 10,000 respondents be a yardstick? The list is crap abeg

The best employer in nigeria is and will remain "POLITICS" you only need a school sat to run for political office in nigeria as opposed to be a graduate as all those companies listed above require. Your salary and perks is astronomical but it's not compared to the once you can steal. You also don't have a boss keeping an eye on you and looming sack for inefficiency. You don't have to wake early in the morning, beat traffic and sleep late at night. Fellow nigerians, don't be decieved. Our governnent is the best employer.

The first 20 companies contain companies people cry about ... even hear on nairaland.... one was even a couple of days ago **telecomms**

If the survey was taken from people at management level which is just about 5% of entire staff... then this might be true.


but from casual workers and slaves at call centres and marketers turned into prostitutes..... i really do not think this is accurate.

Jobberman please post your questionnaire, the sampling method used and how you reached your conclusion.

And after all these so called companies will put conditions for employment such as:
minimum of 20years experience, you can imagine where a fresh graduate can obtain such number of years of experience.
If one had gotten 20 years experience in companies outside the one listed, what will make you to leave all that to port to these washy washy companies.

And some will even put age bracket on top of that number of experience you should have. Something like:
Persons above the age of 20 years should not apply. Now tell me when one will be through with school with incessant ASUU strike, finish Youth service, come gather 5-10 years experience top am and still remain below 20 years. Why can't they recruit applicants with little or no experience and train and tailored them to their practices and after absorb the bests into their workforce. Crappy Companies with crappy conditions. Some of these mutinational companies don't put most of these crappy conditions in other developed countries where they operate.

I am glad You read it to spot how the conclusion was reached. Even though 10,000 Is not the appropriate sample size, appreciate the work. You must not accept it entirely, neither do i, but it Is a commendable job.

You Can only castigate This work and mâke sensé ONLY WHEN You have taken YOUR OWN sample size, studied them and come up with your findings.
Until then, ...
