#1 The Brain's Physical Differences
Did you know men's brains are 10% larger and 11% heavier
than women's brains?

#2 Pain Tolerance
Apparently men have a higher pain tolerance than women. But
what about when women give birth? While birthing, women
luckily get a rush of endorphins and other natural chemicals to
assist them through labor.

#3 Depression
Men have lower rates of anxiety and depression than women.
BUT research has also found men often do not admit or report
effects of depression.

#4 Mirror Gazing
Women spend an average of 2 years of their lives time looking
at themselves in the mirror, while men spend 6 months.

#5 Suicides
Males in Western societies are much more likely to die from
suicide despite females having more suicide attempts. Are
men better at finishing things than women?

#6 Women's Menses
Women spend over 4 years in total, of their lives menstruating.

#7 The Brain & Autism
A theory called, "extreme male brain" shows men's brains
favor "systemizing over empathizing" thinking. The theory also
states that females are prone to psychoses because their
brains favor "emotional over systemizing" processes.
Disorders for both sexes are bad, BUT guess which one "gave
us the theory of relativity, BitTorrent, and the complete works
of Mozart"?

#8 Drinking Alcohol
Did you know that men handle their liquor better because their
bodies are 62% water while women's are 52% water?
Therefore, alcohol in men gets watered down 10% more just by
their bodies. Also, men have more liver enzymes that breaks
alcohol down and sobers them up faster.

#9 About Cleanliness
Did you know. . . 70% of men shower daily. 57% of women
shower daily?

#10 Bacteria
Women carry twice the number of bacteria species on their
hands than men do. . . BUT not all bacteria are bad, some are
actually good for your health!

Read somewhere that a particular part of the brain of a boy in the womb stops to develop at a particular stage, something about why females are more emotional.

Another useless unsubstantiated 'facts', are you a PHD student at Unilag? grin

I only care about option #1 because I know people attribute larger brain size to higher intelligence. Men having larger brain size than women do not indicate that they are smarter.

In 2001, researchers from Harvard found that certain parts of the brain were differently sized in males and females, which may help balance out the overall size difference. The study found that parts of the frontal lobe, responsible for problem-solving and decision-making, and the limbic cortex, responsible for regulating emotions, were larger in women.
In men, the parietal cortex, which is involved in space perception, and the amygdala, which regulates sexual and social behavior, were larger.

Men also have approximately 6.5 times more gray matter in the brain than women, but Women have about 10 times more white matter than men do . This difference may account for differences in how men and women think. Men seem to think with their gray matter, which is full of active neurons. Women think with the white matter, which consists more of connections between the neurons. In this way, a woman's brain is a bit more complicated in setup, but those connections may allow a woman's brain to work faster than a man's..................
