Would suggest you purchase your own private tyre inflator most of them even have guage incorporated on them so you can avoid some mischievous vulcanizer.

What type of car is yours? There is a recommended tyre gauge for your car. Usually, it is pasted on the door jamb of your car. That is the pressure value your car's sensors monitor and indicate from the dashboard if what obtains is different. Now, know that nigeria vulcanizers are ignorant. They may not be playing tricks on you but acting out their ignorance.They will either underinflate or overinflate car tyres. So your check tyre pressure will come in either case. The only way out is to ensure you have the right pressure by checking the value and instruct your vulcanizer accordingly.

Get a personal tire guage to confirm the pressure is within and not over, reason is most vulcanizer over guage.
It is also possible that you are having a slow leak from a nail in your thread, the seal between the sidewall and rims or through the valve. Check your tires for this using soapy water.

had this same issue wit a pathfinder. it was showing d tyre gauge indicator sign. took it to the vulcanizer to gauge. I checked d driver's Syd door n saw dat d tyre pressure is supposed to be 37 not d 42 it was reading. after deflating, a mechanic wiped d error code using his vehicle diagnosis machine. d indicator light never came up again.
