Masters of ceremonies and Religious leaders (Christians especially) often make mistakes of calling an Altar of God a stage and vice-versa. To me, an altar is a structure used for religious rite and should be respected while Stages re just used for public ceremonies. Nairalanders, ur take on dis issue pls

Literally, the significance is nil. Physical altars have no place in today's Christianity.

Beht if your pastor is a celebrity superstar, then that's a stage homie. So make sure you pay for the performance.

I sha knw an Altar is way different from a stage wella.

An altar where Holyspirit descends mightily on people can neva b compared to a stage where dramatization/artistic spirit descends..
A place where people r delivered, answered and healed cant probably be compared to where none of such takes place.
So, d differnce is clear

There is nothing sacred about an alter. The only sacred thing in the Christian faith are Christians because we are the temple of God.
There is nothing sacred about the church.
There is nothing sacred about the Bible (it is just a book). You can tear the pages and even use it to clean you bottom.

The only sacred things are those who are born again. There we must respect and love each other because every born again Christian is a part of the body of Christ and anything you do to that person you are doing it to Christ body.

Jesus garment healed a woman with an issue of blood, does that make garments sacred?
Peter's shadow healed people, does that make shadows sacred?
Moses rode divided the red sea, does that make rod sacred?

People receive healing through those things because of there faith but that doesn't mean God anoint items. Jesus always say "you faith had made you whole". People are healed by faith and touching or using certain items is just an act of faith but that doesn't mean those items healed them.

As Christians we have to grow spiritually and come to a place where we could simply have faith in God and receive healing without the use of objects. Encouraging the use of items will only make us remain as baby Christian.
