Good morning Doctors, although i'm still in medical school but almost graduating,i'm seeking advice on which teaching hospital in africa to do residency in cardiothoracic surgery. Thanks

I'll advise you research hospitals in South Africa if you're interested in cardiothoracic surgery training within Africa. I know some cardiothoracic surgeons that have gone for training there, and they say the standard of CTS practice there is quite high.

Do you know that a new ophthalmic medication has been developed which can effectively eliminate the opacity of the eye lens experienced by cataract sufferers? It is called Bendazac Lysine drops. This drug inhibits the denaturation of protein in the lens which is what causes cataract and equally dissolves the already denatured proteins thereby clearing the opacity. It is now an option for the treatment of cataract.
