Can recording be stored remotely?

I mean robbers can enter premises and cart away the recording devices along with the recorded evidence. So can the images be stored in a server hundreds of kilometers away in real time at no extra cost?

Yes recordings can be uploaded and store in a different location. People just choose not to get things done properly
