'SHOCKING: MAN FOUND DEAD IN WARRI DRAINAGE

An unidentified young man was found dead inside a drainage along Ogunu Road, opposite Zenith Bank in Warri, Delta State.

Though information was still sketchy as at the time of this report, the lifeless body of the fresh and bulky looking man was discovered at about 7am Saturday February 18 by passersby.

It could not be ascertained on what could have led to the man's death and at what time the incident happened.

It was gathered that no injury was found on his body.

Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Hon. Matthew Mofe Edema who was alerted on the development, immediately mobilized Secretary to the Local Government Council, Hon. Bawo Alex Nanna and security officials to do the needful on the remains of the unidentified man.

As at the time of this report, the corpse has been removed and taken away by the Police for necessary action'

Two things are likely involved: probably he was dead-drunk or he was kidnapped, killed and dumped in the gutter (judging from the pair of socks he put on).

it looks like a clear case of a man being drunk, on his way home he misses is steps in the gutter, and because he doesn't have much strength to come out, he get drunk the the more and drowns. Till proven otherwise, so i think!

Let him take breath test....... Same thing happnd to my uncle last December people say he fall into the gutter due to high intake of alcohol

I have always always wanted to be enlightened a bit about Islam without prejudice though.
Eg, can Islam be practiced, preached or talked about without Arabic language being inserted ? Is it mandatory that an adherent must understand Arabic ? Is it a choice? Does knowing Arabic give an advantage?
