Nothing wrong with bargaining (within reason) but trying to get the price down, "because it's not an auto" makes no sense. If you're a fan of automatic cars, then this manual Golf IV won't be for you, regardless of price. Why buy a car you don't like?

For me though, a manual tranny's a bonus.
