That's near perfect men! This shows that no language is hard to learn once you put your mind into it!

I recently listened to Nne mu Nne mu by Funmi Adams from the 80s and her Igbo was flawless like a native speaker, with the right intonations and whatnot.

That was a beautiful song also...although I didn't know what she was saying...lol.

Yes...half Igbo and half black American..born and raised in the U.S.
Late mother was black American.
I can't speak Igbo at all....unfortunately.
I was the former moniker "MzLady 39"....and the one who commented on the thread where the guy was asking about his Nigerian ancestry. I think you (or someone else) suggested going to an annual Nigerian convention somewhere in the U.S. or attending a naming ceremony.
I had told you about my dad not having taught us because he was busy working hard to support us...
