bigboy20: You'll struggle to get an imported Volkswagen Golf IV, with aircon for 500,000 NGN. And you'll find it's impossible to get a Volkswagen Golf IV Coupe. It's only available as a 3 or 5 door hatchback. |

bigboy20: Bro, how can your choice be a 5 door Hatchback, and at the same time a Coupe??  You need to be specific what you're after. There is no Volkswagen Golf Coupe, it doesn't exist. And your expectation for a Volkswagen Golf V for 500,000 NGN is ridiculously unrealistic. You need to research EXACTLY what car you're looking for, look at prices on existing Nairaland adverts, and base your budget on them. The Volkswagen Golf V ran from 2004 - 2009, so the oldest would be about 6 years old. How would your budget get you one?? An imported Golf III is more realistic at what you're looking to pay. A 2005 Golf V will set you back no less than 1,7 million NGN. Unless you're looking to buy a stolen car, or a Volkswagen Golf V missing its engine and transmission, I'll advice you to set your sights on a Tokunbo Volkswagen Golf III. Good luck in your quest. |

I'll say most dealers won't take you seriously with your demands, you change your choice way too often. Pick a couple of models maximum, and I'm sure our dealers on here will be able to help. And definitely, research the car you want. You've now added a Volkswagen Golf III 2,8 VR6 to the confusing mix. You've also specified auto (in previous requests, you've specified manual). Again, a very rare model, in GLX trim (North America). All other VR6 were manual only, and your 500,000 NGN budget won't get you one. VR6 from Cotonou will most likely be manual, unless it was originally sourced from the US. |
