I have been shortlisted! but i dont have NYSC certificate yet. I am Batch B and I will be passing out by June. which is in 2 months time. Will they consider me,or they will stop me from doing the exercise? please reply let me know if they will overlook it for me and i will give them in 2 months time as the camp is going on... skateboardpee4: hi guys, here's a heads up for any candidate, i was priviledged of serving with the nigerian airforce during my NYSC and also was an officer incharge of recruitment due to influence.
first of, if you have no NYSC Certificate, count your self out, even if your still serving. seriously. NOT to make anyone sad or anything but NAF is based on WHO YOU KNOW...
only 77 candidates where picked from a total of 18567 Nationwide. if you still wanna try, pray that GOD is your password.

@skateboardpee4...were u part of both d zonal enlistment xercise nd d 1 held @ kaduna I want to really know what obtains...cos some would say u get enlisted without bias or godfather influence while @ some quarters lyk u have said that it is about "who sabi who" nd is it only @ d kaduna training/test dat 1 gets to do d 3.2km jug nd other physical training ...appreciate ur reply

Pls Ȋ̝̊ don't get you. You mean after the screening and the shortlsting of kaduna dr will still be sum kind of who U̶̲̥̅̊ know too or J̶̲̥̅̊ust for you to get there.

Your right.....at least 80% would be on merit. I am sure. The Airforce isn't like the army or navy. They are the most organized arm of the armed forces.

Which on is "tEST NOtification". The date of the zonal enlistment was postponed from the 4-10th to 17-23 of april as was shown on their website.

What is required is your
-Birth Certificate
-Original of Education Certificate
-NYSC certificate
-(2) letter of attestation of good character from two prominet people in your state.
-attestation of parent/guardian comsent form
-attestation of LGA form
-Acknowledgement form
- writing materials (there would an aptitude test)

Well there are those that will be picked on merit but out of the 5 people I know that were successful last year, 3 of them was through godfatherism(one of whom was their parade commander aka WSUO) and the other 2 are medical doctors(I guess the airforce needs medical doctors)
Not trying to discourage anyone but if you have stands, make proper use of it!

According to the application guide, of paragraph 12 & 13.
12) Applicant's Local Government Attestation form must be signed by a military officer who hails from thr state of the applicant and not below the rank of Wing Commander or equivalent in the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Navy, and Police officer of the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police and above. Local Government Chairman/Secretary, Magistrates and Principals of government secondary schools from applicant's state of origin can also sign the attestation forms.

13) Additonally, applicants are to bring with them letters of attestation of good character from (2) prominent persons from their state of origin to the officer in charge of the Zonal Enlistment Exercise.
