About 2 months ago I asked one of the guys on this forum to come put the advertized tyre sealant into my tyres. I went as far as having 3 cars done. I have used similar products in the past (and even have it in my bike's tyres) and thought it was a good idea.

I have nothing but regrets right now. I had to actually change my tyre in traffic!!! yesterday. This thing  cost me 15K for the jeep tyres I had done. The service from the installer was excellent (If I am to judge that) but loosing two tyres to punctures in 1 day is simply unacceptable. The claim will be that the holes were too big etc, but i had a screw in one tyre (with diameter of 3mm) and a nail in the other tyre (with diameter of 3mm too). If the sealant cannot take care of holes like that, and even allowed me to loose air so fast that I could not even get to the next "vulca" , then its a complete waste of my money.

I wish I could have my money back because to me, the product is not worth the time I spend putting it in.

When the "Specialist" was advertising the product on here, I thought it was a wast of time, and wouldn't work.
Now, you have proven it. Just a pity it cost you time and money to do so.

Thats so much like "I told you so" but I guess you are right.

The thing is that I have used stuff like this in the past with fair results. Like I said, have it in my bike's tire (and there are quite a few nails and studs on it) with very good results. I have never had a catastrophic loss of pressure. Usually I need to put in some air every 2 to 3 weeks but even that on a count of a few PSI loss in pressure.

So to have this thing (at the cost that it is) fail so catastrophically is not only a big surprise but I actually feel like I have beeen duped!!

Thats why I have decided to share my experiences with others here. Everyone here can now make their own choices.

How far with your trip?? Is there a time table yet. September draws near!!

You wan sell me tracker?? Then perhaps the same thing go happen with my tracker when I need am?? No thank you. The car is comprehensively insured, if itgets stolen, thank God cos me and Jenju will be doing it again and gettting a new one!!!

Then I would never have had to use the sealant!!! at 100 time more in cost!!

It never a bad experience to learn in one piece.

More experience

Today my wife and my daughter lost a tyre to a puncture and she was actually by the road side changing the tyre.

I think this guy should be tracked down and dealt with. For that car I spent 10k for sealant. And from all indication, the crap he put in my tyres actually makes things worse. I know that when you have a nail you never loose air so fast that you cant get home. But with this stuff this people are peddling, your tyre will not remain inflated for even 10 minutes.

I really feel so bad. And all this while the guy has not even had the decency to even apologize.

Lucky for me then that I didn't go for the sealant through same source (remember I called you after the guy used you as reference). Maybe I go for get to dey deal with tyre problems during the >5,000km road trip of past month. . .

In fact I just read an old thread that was started here saying this will actually eliminate tyre maintenance cost!!! What a sham!!!

I dont know about what JF is marketing but the guy who sold to me, and claims to be a distributor for JF, gave me stuff that doesnt do what he claims it does. And at a total of 35K, its more than a sham!!!

Anyway, them say 'some times some folks dey use legitimate business dey cover 419 and drug dough'
