We just need faith this season, we are already doing badly in the league but I feel we'd turn things around. The Eyimba vs Heartland match will be the shocker this weekend.

Eyimba FC vs. Heartland FC
« #3 on: November 03, 2008, 09:05 PM »

The Oriental Derby ended 1:1 but with the useless Eyimba fans almost killing the officiating referee. When this same fixture happened last season in owerri, we caused an uproar! we were banned for 3 games at Ibadan with enough fines, the same should be done to them.
So, no one can get 3 points in Aba?
They went to Jos and defeated JUTH there and nobody touced them. It's isn't fair!!!

I just hope you Heart land fans are not as heartless as the Eyimba fans.

I am of the opinion that the stadium should be banned for 5years and when it is opened the fans should not be allowed to watch matches for a very long time like 10years.

How come people turned to monster because of football, that man is somebody's father, a son , husband etc.

I cried like a baby when i saw that clip.

Another victory for us, this season has a superb momentum. The point gap between the 1st and the 10th is so little, but still, it is still early days.

the problem isnt starting a HEARTLAND F.C. zone, but to maintain it, its cool that there are people who still come down to the home level,it shouldnt be about, chelsea and arsenal all the time, am an indigene of Imo state and i really wish d club best of luck next season, its really going to be hard but by d grace of God,we will hit Africa in grand style, its quite unfortunate that right now the club dosent have a website,it would have been better if that was available,so that vital infos about the club can be obtained, right now i dont even know 99.9 percent of players in the team, i hope someone can get the message across to the management of the club on the need to have a website, One love to all of you guys.

its quite unfortunate that there is no NPL website to follow up issues like this, its a pity

2nd place..for now!!
« #14 on: November 27, 2008, 05:03 PM »

Second on goal difference is what keeps us from the top. This weekend will look to solve that. The team has a good depth and fluidity but I feel that's because the pitch in Orlu favours that. Beating Nassarawa Utd 3:0 was because the team played fast counter-attacking against the home team, something they rarely do. We can do it this Year. Up Heartland united!!!

Hi brothers,
Enyimba still remains the most successful clubside in Nigeria so far no matter what happens. But I hope that Heartland will win the CAF Champions League which Enyimba has won twice.

The Fact that Enyimba remains the best team in Nigeria is not in doubt, but they havent stepped up their game as we saw when they won the CAF champions league back to back, with the enthusiasm displayed by the Imo state government with regards to Heartland, I see them going places,

We need to upgrade!
« #20 on: December 17, 2008, 11:58 AM »

We need a good website so we can at least know the "411" on the club. Until our football becomes a private brand, i can't see any future. Also, i visited our pitch at Owerri, Seriously, we lack the maintainance culture to produce stars of the future. On a lighter note, we are doing well in the league. Keep it up boys!
Andy1985ng (m)
Kano Pillars vs. Heartland, your views.
« #21 on: December 31, 2008, 04:33 PM »

I'm not feeling very sure about this match. The fact that it is an away match at far away Kano to a strong side after the league break makes my point. I hope for a draw but the Nazi millionaires can shock me anytime with a win. Go Heartland!

My fear came to pass, we lost 2:1 but no qualms, it could have been worse and no away team made away with even a draw!

On a lighter note, the NFF has announced that the U-20 eaglets will play Heartland FC as a friendly match, that's good news.
