In recent times, fuji music has turned into what every area boys uses as an avenue to pick up a fight with rivals, though used to be in vogue then but it's rather becoming something else now adays. Fuji music is really going tech and i think i love it . bilms: What of Sefiu Alao ? |

The likes of fuji musicians: Kwame 1, Pasuma etc. most of 'em jus hail themselves, n hail other famous people. . . . hardly potrays something about culture. . . . well IMO! |

@ topic yes i do think fuji music brings out our culture saheed osupa is trying, but there are times when his songs don't really make sense too personally i prefer the old musicians haruna isola, dauda epo akara and so on ! |
Re: Do U Think Our Fuji Music Brings Out Our Culture? by bilms(m): 5:27pm On Jan 21, 2009 |
yes, i agree with u. but i think he saheed osupa is trying to make his song more appreciated by both old and the young generation. u no we young people love songs that are lively and in most cases lively songs dont usually make sense. just like psquare song( Do me) its lively but it does not make any sense and still we love it. so i guess he is trying sing meaniful songs that will be appreciated for those who need it and aswell sing lively song to gain crowd from the new generation. |

Re: Do U Think Our Fuji Music Brings Out Our Culture? by bilms(m): 5:30pm On Jan 26, 2009 |
FBS: not just fuji, but music. tupac vs biggy 50 cent vs ja rule even 50 cent vs eedris Mode 9 vs Rugged. so it has been lyk this evr since. emilyone: lol, my guy, u re far from being realistic. Area boy ke? i guess u re fuji enemy. If u say saheed osupa is an area boy, then my brother, what will u call 50 cent? Eedris? Ja rule? jentle guys abi? most of the popular musical stars are from the ghetto. and in the ghetto thats the style. ~smurf: Saheed osupa (saridon p) who was just crowned the King last year is one of the most popular yoruba artist. i must tell u that this guy is great, how i wish u can convert his lyris to english, i bet u no artist can stand it. he spit yoruba in deep, wise sayings, deep proverbs and further break down, slangs ,and exceptional praises |

I like KWAM1 and Pasuma. Can't really make out what they say most times but they have the showmanship. |

hi all, i never beleived that saheed osupa is this great, not until i listened to his last album that came out last year ending titled Endorsement. I must confess, this guy is wonderful. he realeased a 3 in 1 album. but the speciality is not the 3 in 1 but what it contained. the three are loaded with interesting cultural songs that inspire. u have to lkisten to this album to understand what am saying. U guys should try and listen to it too. i no many will feel the same way i do. cheers |
