When your wearing a suit your socks should match your trousers not your shoes. Also your belt and shoes should match.

@iniguy
You can if you want to, but if you want to look good your accessories should match. If u notice women dont wear sliver earrings and then gold chain and leather watch it just looks funny.
try and make your accessries match

e.g cufflinks and tie
e.g shoe with belt or watch
e.t.c.

Combining patterns is extremely dangerous. It only works very well a few times.

I mean like patterned shirt and patterned tie.

~ MEN'S TOP 10 MUST-HAVE SPRING FASHION ITEMS

Dinner Jackets
It’s always good to have at least one. A dinner jacket is great to throw on for a casual night out with friends or attending a classy dinner party

Plunging Neckline
A deep neckline isn’t just made for women’s apparel. This style is being seen more in men’s tees, cardigans and shirts.

Rounder Shades
Fellas, protect those eyes and still look fashionable. Round, square, and wrap-arounds are the flyest shapes this season.

Hats
This trend is great because it acts as a great fashion accessory as well as great sun protection, not just the baseball cap.

~You don’t need to be richie rich to create a fresh look. With the right basics and accessories it's easy to go from G to GQ. Take some fashion cues from your favorite celebs.

50 Cents
G-Unit’s heavy-hitter knows to avoid clothes that are too big or loose fitting. Tight jeans may not be your thing, but like 50, choose items that fit your body.

Diddy
A secure, well-dressed man has never failed to impress. Mr. Businessman himself is always smartly dressed and – with or without a tie – pulls it off with pure confidence.

Chris Tucker
Know what to wear by determining your destination. When it’s time to be serious, a basic black suit is the correct choice. When it’s all laughs and giggles, bring it down a notch with a black tee, jeans and jacket.

Bow Wow
A suit is the one thing every guy should own. Even in this age of casual-wear, the suit still carries an air of success, taste, and sophistication.

Kanye West
The Louis Vuitton Don keeps his designer labels to a minimum. Wearing a designer’s name on your chest, jeans, bag and shoe doesn’t make you stylish. Take a cue from Kanye and keep it understated and simple.

Jay-Z
In two words, man up. While Jigga used to favor the casual hip-hop looks of athletic jerseys and sneakers, these days he is more likely to be found in a button-down or Armani suit and the finest of dress shoes

John Legend
To be taken seriously in the business world, you have to dress the part. Always aim to present a sophisticated, take-charge image whether you’re on or off the clock.

Chris Brown
If you are looking for something to go out in and not a big fan of the suit and tie combo, you can still pull off a smooth look. Try a form fitting V-neck or black dress shirt which can be worn with designer jeans and sneaks.

Ne-Yo
Rise above the masses and display the qualities of a true gentleman. A man’s mannerisms are just as an important part of his image as quality clothes. The ladies will appreciate it.

Nelly
Fine fashion accessories might be just what you need to spruce up your image. "Real men" may not be as blinged out as hip-hop mogul Nelly, but jewelry has become an important part of the way many guys dress.

LL Cool J
A hat is more than appropriate to add to your wardrobe. They impart personality and add an interesting and unique accent to your outfits. A cool hat can quickly become your signature piece and give you extra swag.

Ludacris
Keep the ladies guessing and learn to experiment with different styles and color. The flyest fellas know how to switch it up and take their look from casual to classy with coolness.

Shemar Moore
Of course there are clothes for young people, but style is about the shape you are in and what works best to keep up a modern, mature look that’s all your own. As you get older, fashion needs to be less fussy and more sleek.

Pharrell
Fellas, can you please dress out of the box for just one day? You actually may look more interesting. Don’t fall into the scary side of safeness. Dare to be different. Try something new.

T.I.
If you can’t afford the clothing like the big guns in men’s fashion, get inspired by their design and find less expensive versions of similar styles. It’s easy to emulate a celeb’s look while spending less.

Tyson Beckford
Having a girly moment? Let’s set the record straight, there is no longer anything ultra-feminine about wearing pink. In fact, wearing pink is about sorting the men from the boys. "Real Men" really DO wear pink.

~Usher
T-shirts and jeans have long been the staple of the male wardrobe but even those are subject to change. Today’s man is wearing things that are more daring because he’s beginning to feel more comfortable of his fashion choices

Will Smith
Look in the mirror and be real about what you have to work with - at any age! Getting older really means learning from your past fashion mistakes.

~ An increasing number of men are making grooming a priority because they want to maintain a Clean Sleek appearance and a winning edge on the Ladies. Wink

QUICK GROOMING TIPS:

1. Good dental hygiene means a dazzling smile. The ladies love a great set of teeth. For some, it’s a requirement plus its the first thing someone will notice when you smile,so take care of those teeth! Wink

2.Make time to clip and file your fingernails at home: A Well-manicured nail will be noticed! Hands and feet grooming are very Important routines to upkeep.Best time to tackle clipping Toe nails especially is after you've had a bath/shower! Much easier!!

3. A regular shape-up, trim beard and mustache go a long way.

4. If you’re going to wear cornrows, keep them neat. If you can’t keep it groomed 24/7, slick it back in a neat ponytail or opt for a modern, short haircut, a clean cut or invest in a few fly hats.

5.If You're Not Already aware,Men too need to Pamper their Skin!! Buy/ get a good daily skin care routine. There are lots of Skin Care products out there for Men. . . . Ashy elbows & hands from lack of applying creame or lotion is not a sight to behold!

6. If you  have Dry lips,Brush your lips with a soft, dry toothbrush to remove the dead skin and apply a thin coat of lip balm or vaseline, just dont pile it on your  lips.

7. You don't have to get your shoes polished every morning. However, at least wipe them with a soft cloth if they're looking dusty. And guys, please change your socks everyday, no matter what!

8. You are what you wear and if you're dressed in dingy, wrinkled or unkempt clothes, then guess what that says about you? Take the time to look presentable. First impressions could make a lasting impact on a person.

FAST! FACT: Shoes, Watches, Belt and Eye wear can add that extra something to your overall look. Invest in all four.

Dress to your figure and not just to fashion.

You attire should function as a single unit, all working towards a single goal of making you look good. Your dressing should hide your short comings, while emphasizing your good points. Do not wear (or even worse, tuck in) a tight fitting T-shirt that only serves to emphasize your growing midsection. Please hide your huge pot belly in a loosley fitted attire.

Styles and/or cut from specific areas are usually better suited to people of specific stature. For example, a french design will likely be better suited to one of slim built, while guys with more opulence might be more presentable in an Italian or American cut.

Color combinations are like musical tones. When well blended, they give the needed appeal, and when combined otherwise could result in a fashion cacophony that is tantamount to a sin against humanity. You do not want to dress in a single tone (like all black or all white), leaving you tasteless, but at the same time do not combine colors without consideration, as if your were a masquerade.

When it comes to fashion, it is acceptable (and often prudent) to copy others. Look at people you (or others) feel dress well and simply copy them (taking note of differences in physique and/or complexion).

Dress more like who you want to be, and less like who you are.

You should have a full length mirror at your disposal. Do not wait for the comments of others, but rather start with an indoor self appraisal. People will often tell you when you look good, but few will tell you when you get it wrong.

The T.I style of wearing long polo shirts that reach almost to the knees is just dumb IMO. Polos or T-shirts should not go lower than a quarter down your butt.
