yes the spots that has done the lease damage fades in time the others are permanent, i have kids who had CP it has been 3 years and they are growing THEIR SPOTS ARE STILL THERE YOU SHOULD ASK YR GP

Shea butter and coco butter may be able to smooth the skin but not remove the spots.

Unfortunately I got infected with chicken pox fresh out of Secondary School some years ago.  Thank God for my great pigmentation, I have not seen a single spot on my skin.

I suggest you try the pure, raw cocoa butter fat, I know this helped my nephew tremendously. All the best,

I hate to say it but chickenpox scars are permanent!!!! I have the scars on my face and I've had them for over thirteen years. There is nothing you can do about them.I agree with others though, use lotion and if they're on your face wash your face well everyday to soften them so the scars wont be entirely noticeable.

But a friend of mine had it last yr and there is no single spot on her body. She said she drang AGBO (Yoruba medicine) and kept bathing with palmwine at night. No  harm in trying it out.

wit time,it fades, pray u have a good skin, it'll fade fast, i cant remember ever having it,bt all my friends dat had it, wen i cee them now,i dont even remember they ever had it, bt u can try honey, it makes black spots fade, gradually, though it entails alot of patience.

~Clear Essence Medicated Fade Cream worked for my sister & she had it really bad,on her face & Body!! Within three months of continuous use twice a day,it completely cleared her skin . . . .Not a spot in sight!!

However am not sure its adviseable if you skin tone is dark . . . Undecided

:(chicken pox scars are permanent if the pox when it came out was ruptured and infected. basically if it left a concave hole in your skin it will remain forever, but might smooth out slightly over the years. u could try bio-oil to reduce appearance over time. superficial marks will eventually fade with time and u cud help it along with a gentle fader cream. wish u success!!
