To the mods i have fought with the passion runs high, its all for the good of the forum we all love.

Trust me this part of the award was the hardest part, for each and everyone of you worked really hard.

We came up with  a shortlist of 5 names.

This mods have really tried to bring life to certain sections of the forum, some mods turned down those sections but these people worked really hard on them.
We had a tough time trying to shortlist the names, now we want you to choose the top 3 from among these mods.

Then we will open the top three names to the General forum. The reason why its been done this way is to prevent people nominating based on popularity and not on merit. We have seen the just concluded Sectionals that some boards nominate

Our thanks to the admin Seun, all this wont have been possible without him, and to our other super mod Debosky, keep up the good work. Also Iice, you were the second ever mod and simply the best through all the tough times

I hereby Nominate :-

FOD - One of the silent mods, he is also among the first mods Seun and I chose, only he and  iice are still very much active,obeys the rules at all times, never seen him fight with anyone,i have never had the cause to pm him about anything, he fights the spammers well on Business and Money give them a dose of their own medicine.


naijacutee - another silent mod, does her work diligently, she rarely ventures outside her boards though and not everyone knows this lady, but she is also another hardworking Mod, doing her modding duties quietly on Business and Money


mohawkchic -another mod that helps out people on her board, she is forever posting tips for fashionistas and anti-fashion people , she has helped a lot of people to know what to wear, when to wear it and how to wear it  her good advices have helped lots of people in the world of fashion.

Lawyer - This is the mod that gave life to a near dead Section, he posts valuable information, helps out people, guide them on the latest about land developments and protects them from scammers. His section has a low traffic turnout but he always posts there and tries to make it lively, he has been exceptional throughout this year


Cristalz - One of the female sports fanatics on the forum, not only does this lady know her sports, she is good at coordinating her section, she does a weekly preview for each match,which brings in more supporters and haters , yeah its the sports world , then on to career, she has been very good on that section, she started a thread that bought together workers from all works of life, who share and help each other on their problems, that section was being overtaken by spammers but she stepped in and took it back to where it belong

Jarus - He mods one of the tough sections of the forum and works hard on that Section,creates topics that teaches other posters a lot, he is also good at organising events, he is the brain behind all this awards.

Hmmmnnnn, a very tough one. I have always been trumpeting Cristalz's and Lawyer's efforts. I have never hidden my admiration for their moderating style, but it's a pity I'm competing against them. If my name had not been there, I would have had to throw a coin between both of you but the matter has been settled by having my name there too. So I dropped the vote for myself

Good choice and wonderful remarks made on each Mod. I kinda agree that all these 5 are great excellent Mods and to tell you truth, Im actually finding it hard on choosing who shall I vote for. GUSH!

voted. . .wish we were given more than one option. so so hard to choose.

As for me, my vote goes to all the Nairaland MODs, you all deserved to be the Mods of the year. Having said this, I hardly know any of the nominated mods so I cant vote based on my own assessment of them, but based on the supermod assessment, they all deserved to be the Mod of the year.
