Any Metro-sexual Men Out There?

metrosexual men are  men who are not sure of their sexuality.

Any  man who has anything other a sample of Nivea body cream,some cheap bathing soap,deodorant from the £1 shop needs help.Ok,I must just add after shave to the list but that is it.

Each item must not cost more than a £1 or a $1

I don't even know what I look like when I get up in the morning.

I think most women will agree with me  that no man should spend more time dressing up than them.     

We are not talking of well groomed men,we are talking of extremely groomed men(metro-sexuals).You don't have to go the lenghts these guys go to look good

Those men are either sexually disoriented or incredibly vain

Ok guys I have heard you loud and clear. However, I think I can clearly define between a gay man and a man who is conscietious of his physical appearance.

I know many of you guys are not being truthful you spend double the time we ladies do in the shower and to get dressed.

As Coco said, who the hell needs an unkept man? For me its a total turn off.

I remembered meeting this guy once at a conference and we begun speaking. Man as soon as he sat next to me, phew! It was as if I opened a Latrine pit, stinky, stinky, stinky.  Nails as dirty as a mechanic and don't even talk about those "32's", well lets just say neither Crest or Cologate had ever paid him a visit.

I like, no am attracted to guys who are groomed, not gay, there is a difference,

4play I think you are saying exactly what I stated " metro sexuals are well groomed" men.

Being metro sexual extends all areas of grooming. There are however, some who go to the extreme, while others tend to be limited in terms of their fashion activities.

4play you like I know that gays are a far different story. They are identifyable in a dark room.

Now those on the DL are a whole different story, and can very well be disguised as Metro sexuals.  However, I do not in anyway believe it is fair for me, or for us to label every well groomed, metro sexual as gay.

Finally I did read an article once where Tiger was shown getting a pedicure at a spa in Hollywood. And many more men do take liberty in such luxuries.

Come 4play, you know you spend that extra min in the mirror making sure that moisturizer is properly applied.  And you like so many of them freak out when they see a pimple or razor bumps getting out of control,

The truth is many of you guys visit the cosmestic section in the pharmacy just as often as we ladies do, you are all just in denial.

Dennis Rodman is not gay.Ok maybe i exagerated by suggesting he is the quintessential metrosexual.Not all metrosexuals go to that lenght.

Most gaymen are probably metrosexual but not all metrosexuals are gay.However,metrosexuals have an effeminate quality about them which manifests itself in the inordinate amount of time that they spend on their physical appearance.

It is this narcissm that marks out the metrosexual from the ordinary well groomed man.

Noone is opposed to the idea of a man spending sometime on how he looks,however an excessive desire to look like a walking,talking magazine male model is obscene.

Hence ,I am not critical of a visit to a spa to have a bit of a pedicure but such visits will verge on the metrosexual if they  became a regularity so much so that he does so more than the average woman .

And we don't visit the cosmetic section of the pharmacy more than most women.No offense but u sure u  don't hang around too many gay men?Does the phrase fag hag mean anything to you?

i know that i am very concerned concious about my grooming. i shave my armpits, my privates, wear quality clothes. buy facial products, do my nails pedicure included and i feel very much a man. never had a feeling/desire for male companionship outside of a drinking partner when partying.
One of the nicest thing for me is to be on the plaza on a weekend wearing a push-toe sandals, showing off the self done pedicure.
it just feel good to know that people see you that you are extremely well-put-together as a male. 

Well-groomed and metro sexual are two different concepts, I like my men well groomed, men should take care of themselves and they don't need to break the bank balance to do this. Every thing a guy needs to look after himself shouldn't cost more than £100(than includes a nice bottle of after-shave), moisturizer, lip-balm, hand-cream etc. On the other hand, a metro sexual man will go to the extreme with designer brand products, fashion labels, light cosmetic surgery and dental surgery just to make a statement.

I had an ex that spends money every month on facials, manicure and pedicure, he even went as far has getting his teeth whitened, that doesn’t include the countless number of grooming products he uses, that dude had more products than i do!!! And I can assure that he definitely isn't gay, he is as straight as an arrow.Aside of his extreme grooming, he works 9-5 and still has time to work-out in the gym.
