contradictions!!! culture is people's way of life
Okay, let me rephrase that:

Christianity was not adopted by 'copy-cat', it was brought to us.  Culture is usually adopted by copying others.  Am I right?

to me, dere nothin wrong if u dress that way, it's whts in da person that matters, i am one person who doesnt give a fxxk aba wht people say aba ma dressin, i gt piercings n i dnt give a fxxk aba wht people thk
Shocked Shocked
You don't have to give a fxxk. The fact remains that they will still feel the same way about you.  The impression you give, often determines the expression of people towards you.

Isn't it funny how virtually every lady posting on this thread are in full support of this?  And the funnier aspect is the reason they all give - 'It makes them look hot, sexy, ' :rolls eyes:

Earrings on men ?. It is a sign of confusion and lost of focus. Irresponsibility of the highest order. It makes no sense.

Lets not be too quick to judge people here. one man's meat is another man's poison (as they say), so if a guy feels cool about wearing studs, then that is his own perogative. And for people talking about earing on men not being an african culture, i think you should go read your african culture textbooks well. It is part of the cultural dressing in some northern african countries for men to wear earings; not even stud but loops and other dangling ones.

Like my father always say: "whatever you youths wear today and you think is a new trend was once a new trend 20 years ago."

This thread already points out why most guys wear studs/earrings: MOST FEMALES FIND STUDS/EARRINGS ON MEN ATTRACTIVE!!!

So for the salty ass guys on here uncannily hating on guys who rocks studs/earrings they have a reason for doing so. Just as some guys work out to get abs and pecks because females are attracted to 'em too.

I got no qualms with males rocking studs/earrings i just don't do 'em because the reason ain't worth it (i.e. Lame!!!). Afterall i still manage to get my fair share of female to look my side without 'em.

Fashion is an expression of self esteem and intelligent quotient, so what you wear says a lot about you! Would love to see professional men wearing earings, i.e doctors, pilots, lawyers, et al!

i consider it as something irresponsible men do how many besides rapper/gangsta and the flock of people trying to live like them wear earrings how many upright professional people wear stud or earrings or whateva.

I totally disagree with the idea of Men using Earrings, it fits some men i know that rite? Has people say, it makes them sexy, some people use it to feel among and i swear it disgusts me.

I know some people would/wouldn't accept the idea of bringing bible into this, but see this
There were men and women in the Bible who wore earrings (Exodus 32:2-3; Numbers 31:50; Judges 8:24; Song of Solomon 1:10-11).

I don't know why Men use it
Why do you want the earring, i know most of them are using it to draw attention to themselves
they want to be like everyone like i said earlier

So an earring is not necessarily a matter of right and wrong, It is more of a matter of what is acceptable, what you wish to do.

Therefore it should now be clear that God condemns earrings for men. It is a sign of unmanliness, rebellion, vanity and worldliness—and even idolatry and slavery

I couldn't agree more with you, queeen.  You've said it all.

I also like this by naijababe: "how many upright professional people wear stud or earrings or whateva".

I think that most guys that have earrings look good, but it does tend to brign about certain sterotypes about being ghetto and all that (and that's not allllways the case).
