Hi Folks,

I've been researching on this platform as I intend to apply for PhD programs in the field of Social Science.

WES just evaluated my Bachelor's and Master's transcripts.

My WES Bachelor's GPA: 3.3/4.00 (Obtained from Nigerian University).

My WES Master's GPA: 3.75/4.00 (Obtained from an European University).

What are my chances?

Please advice me on Doctoral programs and Universities that can waive GRE?

One love.

May God bless us in this journey of success...Amen

Hello house is there any difference between the WES unofficial evaluation of an undergraduate transcript and the official evaluation? Is it possible the result gotten after evaluation can be different?

I don't think there is any ATM card in this country that can make a transaction of $500.
I might be wrong though

Naira Card has limit which is $100 a month. unless you using dorm account card.

You can send me pm or email to pay if you are interested. But it all about your choice.

After Wes evaluation you will get a copy either email or mail and there will be differences from evaluated transcript to your university transcript.

Hello Friends, please can I book an appointment for my student visa without first obtaining my Form1-20 and paying SEVIS?

You need your i20 to book visa interview appointment because your sevis Number which is inside your i20 will be needed to book visa appointment.

If you want to work fast on this ask your school to send your i20 scan copy first so that you can be using that to book appointment and fill your ds160 and pay sevis fee.

Bro/ Sis the structure of SAT includes Mathematics, abeg why run away from mathematics.
“I am very weak in Mathematics” please erase this notion from your brain quick (very important).
You are very good in mathematics,it just that u’ve not had time for it.
Start with Khanacademy.org, Infact go through all the mathematics lessons from grade 1 (don’t underestimate small beginnings) After ,go for SAT materials and practice a lot of questions.
All the best bro/sis you are a maths genius ,trust me smiley

Visa Approved

Fri, Jan 15. 8:00 am

Me: Good Morning

VO: Can I have your I-20 and passport, please?

Me: (Hands over required documents)

VO: Why are you going to the US

Me: To pursue a Masters degree in Information science at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock

VO: (Takes a look at my I-20). I see you have an assistantship, what will you be doing during your assistantship?

Me: I will be working as a Software Developer under the dept, on a social media analytics tool as part of a project called COSMOS

VO: Is the funding for a semester or the entire program?

Me: It's full funding that covers my tuition and offers monthly stipends to the tune of Bleep amount(Me trying to play safe as the assistantship offer is renewed every semester based on performance. It can actually be terminated, just like a regular job offer, cos that's what it is)

VO: (Nods head in unison)Why are you taking this course?

Me: I'm taking this course from a problem-solving perspective, from my years of experience working as a Product Manager, I have spotted a data problem in diverse sectors in Nigeria, finance, governance etc. I intend to use the skills and knowledge gained from this course to build a solution around this(I probably mentioned some examples like credit rating and insurance but let's keep it short)

VO: Are you married?

Me: No

VO: Have you traveled outside of Nigeria?

Me: No

VO: You don't have any problems, I will be approving your VISA. Take your(inaudible)

Summary: It seemed like a good day at the Embassy, I'm not particularly sure if people got approved or denied as I wasn't paying too much attention. But the VO seemed nice, and from the tone I was hearing over the speakers, they all sounded friendly enough to approve VISAs.

Thanks to everyone that shared their transcripts, God bless you.
